    In Dead Earnest

In Dead Earnest, Well it's better than being In Dead Ernest, except if you're a gay necrophiliac of course.

    Mollie Sugden et al

Who needs a reason to revive Mollie. At least her work on "Are you being served?" is still funny, Review "It's a wonder I'm here at all. My pussy got soaking wet. I had to dry it out in front of the fire before I left." - Mollie Sugden as Mrs. Slocombe, TV gold IMO. Unlike Dickie O's mediocre "Man About the House", shite, review

    Interesting Ways To Die...

Now if only we could get Uruguay's channel 10 to produce the UK's next series of Big Brother.

    Near misses 2006

I'm not sure you're Bruno's type, I think he prefers the older man, uncle Wilfie or Walter Cronkite for instance.

    Godot

Hearty congratulations to you BHB, now you're really in the sh*t, literally and metaphorically.
  6. Encourage DeathList candidates to take up smoking.

    John Profumo

It's been just over a week now and poor old Profumo still has no write up on the front page. Has our esteemed leader gone AWOL?

Lord Lucan, Richie Edwards, all sounds very familiar http://www.deathlist.net/forums/index.php?...rd%20lucan&st=0

    The Weatherman Death Pool

Fret ye not, I have submitted my team of ancients, the terminally unwell (fingers crossed) and one condemned man. I just hope they all stay breathing until the kick off.

    St. Patrick's Day

Happy St.Patrick's Day. A post full o' cliches.

Another DeathLister with special powers psychic? are you sure you don't mean psychotic?

    Near misses 2006

You and Wikipedia are a bit slow I posted that two days ago in the correct thread, "Not exactly famous but worth a mention" http://www.deathlist.net/forums/index.php?...indpost&p=55926

    Near misses 2006

You reckon! I'd have never have guessed.

    Peter Sallis

How about awarding him his thread back?

    Bird Flu

I'm now waiting for the headlines "Bird flu now in dog" "Goat goes down with A (H5N1) Virus" "Fresian Cattle now infected" "Killer 'Flu shocks equine world" "Old Woman Dead (of course)" Bird Flu now in dog.

    Shelly Long

It's good to see that Shelley Long 56, has her own thread, albeit one that seems to have become about Scousers. After Shelley's alleged suicide attempt 16 months ago, she is still stubbornly breathing, and busy working on new projects. Never mind I'm sure she can't last for more than 30 years or so. One to keep an eye on I fancy.

    Peter Sallis

Theres an interview here, which states Peter Sallis has no wish to retire, even though his eyesight is failing, maybe thats why he was having trouble walking, due to being careful as to not bump into anything. http://www.yorkshiretoday.co.uk/ViewArticl...ticleID=1369470 Sallis will go on until he drops, like Bill Owen did. Give him back his own thread, he warrants it.

Who Will Be #4 In 2006?

I've narrowed it down to 47 possibles. Does this thread serve any real purpose? Lots of pointless guesses, we'll all find out soon enough who number four is.

    Not Exactly Famous...

Robert Baker, creator of chicken nuggets and turkey ham. Has died aged 84. For culinary crimes he should be turned into Soylent Green. __________________________________________________ George Rallis, former Greek Prime Minister, has died aged 88.
  21. Tempus Fugit

    Peter Sallis

I agree with you Godot Mollie Sugden should have her own thread but so should Peter Sallis, When threads on Jack Nicholson and Michael Crawford are left intact, then Peter Sallis's thread should have been allowed, he is far more likely to be a DeathList candidate than many others who have their own threads.
  22. Tempus Fugit

    Harry Morgan

CP, I believe this is Mr Fugit's way of making a point. No I'm not using Harry to make a point, he's a serious candidate. Unlike a few recent threads, such as Jack Nicholson and Michael Crawford. I think that anyone who's been an official DeathListee in the past (and might again become one), should have their own thread.
  23. Tempus Fugit

    Peter Sallis

I think that Peter Sallis should definitely have his own thread, he's certainly famous enough and his health isn't great. It seems a bit incongruous to merge Sallis into a "Last of the Summer Wine" thread, while keeping the Mollie Sugden and John Inman threads intact. If Sallis (who is arguably more famous worldwide) isn't good enough for his own thread then surely Sugden and Inman should be merged into the; "Cast of are you being served?" Getting older... thread. http://www.deathlist.net/forums/index.php?...ou+being+served
  24. Tempus Fugit

    Bernard Cribbins

I'm perfectly calm, the rum has seen to that. Maybe I'll start 20 new threads along the lines of this one to prove my point.
  25. Tempus Fugit

    Bernard Cribbins

The trouble with all these new threads, like this one and the Michael Crawford one the Jack Nicholson one and the Sean Connery one, is that they are Stupid. None of these people have serious health problems ,neither are they that old. On the basis on which these threads were started you could start hundreds more about similar people, which would really clutter the forum up with dross.
