That is one awful portrait, Rolf Harris must be a closet Republican. The Queens mouth and eyes, make her look positively demented.

I'd sooner hammer a six inch nail very slowly into my head, The effect I imagine, would be marginally less painful than listening to the Quo. PLEASE BE MY GUEST. YOU BORING F****r. I DREAD TO THINK WHAT KIND OF CRAP SO CALLED MUSIC YOU LISTEN TO. Sometimes Mahler, sometimes not.

raider+Dec 19 2005, 10:51 PM--> QUOTE(Tom( raider @ Dec 19 2005, 10:51 PM) And not only that, both of them would clearly fit this description: I'd use that same description for Cliff Richard's demise.

The Deathlist Christmas Special!
Tempus Fugit replied to Lady Die's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Your landing in your hotel! Bloody hell, it's got it's own runway or helipad. Either way sounds very swish. -
Where is your evidence to this statement? I'm near certain that you weren't in Britain for The Winter of Discontent, If you had been, you wouldn't be asking that question.

Not exactly stiff competion that Maggie's up against, Callaghan, was totally ineffectual, Heath, less said the better, Wilson, started out well, but accomplished little of note, Home, who? Eden, Suez debacle, The only one to come close to giving her a run for her money, would be Macmillan.

If you want to put a child on your DDP entry, I think that's a matter for the individual concerned. DeathList I believe once had Gary Linekers young son as candidate. As child nominees are allowed on DDP, don't let any emotive claptrap deter you from making that choice.

I took my chances and submitted, because I don't want to second guess my original choices and then have the original ones die off. For a silly example, if I had submitted them this morning instead of last night, I might have been tempeted to add Ariel Sharon on the list, which would clearly have been a mistake. I'm even sorta disappointed that I put Arthur C. Clarke on it To thine own self be true, CP If it works for you, then great. I prefer to have all the latest info before entering, you never know some celeb could announce they have only months to live.

Doherty's former drug dealer has been diagnosed as HIV positive, he thinks Doherty should get a test as they used to share needles.

I'm biding my time before I submit my entry. You never know what developments may occur in the next 12 days.

The Deathlist Christmas Special!

I don't want anything for myself, I'd like the world to get the gift of peace. Or failing that, Blair and Bush suffering very unpleasant deaths. -

I'll skip the quality American cuisine if it's all the same to you, Banshees. I would like one of these, though: More toys from Bad Santa here. The perfect gift for Banshees, look out ladies! -
Lou Rawls comes to mind, or possibly Pinter.

Yes Israeli politics are notoriously soft, and former Brigadier General Sharon is renowned for his softness. Waste your DDP joker if you wish, I'll save mine for a better candidate.

It's only a minor stroke, Thatcher's had a couple of them, and she's still going.

Looks like somebody did try to assassinate Iran's nutty leader.

That's more like it, those chaps have got the right idea. I'd rather have a hookah, thanks all the same Banshees. -
Excluding Dennis, there are 26 in the photo, so who are the interlopers?
-
I thought second on the left was Kenneth Baker.
-
Well don't I feel silly for not knowing that! What an embarrassment, there goes my Quo fan club membership.
-
No that's Margaret. or Geoffrey Howe.

Don't all their tunes have exactly the same rhythm? Who can forget that classic Matchstick Men. The world of rock would indeed feel Ricks loss, in the same way a stray dog would feel the loss of a flea.

The only ones I can definitely make out are, Malcolm Rifkind, Willie Whitelaw, dead Geoffrey Howe, Douglas Hurd, Kenneth Clarke, Kenneth Baker, John Major, Nigel Lawson, John MacGregor, Possibles, George Younger, dead Paul Channon, Peter Lilley, Ian Lang, Peter Brooke, Tom King, Nicholas Ridley, dead David Young, Norman Fowler, David Waddington.

Who is this chap Prick Halfwit, of whom you speak so highly?
