    Richard Pryor

raider+Dec 14 2005, 09:24 PM--> QUOTE(Tom( raider @ Dec 14 2005, 09:24 PM) If 'N-word' points to a negroid human being, I very much doubt that Richard Pryor overlooked them while visiting Africa. African American comedian Chris Rock's 1996 television special Bring the Pain and 1997 album Roll with the New included a segment known as "Niggas vs Black People", which used the former word to describe a self-destructive segment within the black community. Rock cast "niggas" as "low-expectation-havin'" individuals -- proud to be ignorant, violent, and on welfare. The controversy of this piece, which played upon racist stereotypes of black people, was such that it led Rock to cease performing it. I suspect Richard Pryor was thinking of the above.

    Bordering On Necrophilia

As Ronnie's in the prison hospital I'd say he's pretty safe from molestation. The fact that he's an ugly old rancid scrote would also help.

    The Deathlist Christmas Special!

My impression of the culture in which we live is that the Nominal Christians who run the place are happy to demote Christmas to "holidays" in order to include as many people as possible in the BIG SELL season. All other arguments are promoted as a smoke screen to this blatant prostitution of a significant religion. Some of the others have more self respect! Looks like these householders agree with you Capt. According to the article they've decorated their house in a macabre theme to protest the commercialization of Christmas.

What kind of deranged individual would want to bugger Ronnie Biggs's decaying heap of bones. That alone would qualify them for Broadmoor.

    Tookie Williams

According to this article it looks like Tookie had been all but forgotten by todays gangbangers. Tookie desereves no sympathy, it's easy to repent from Death Row, would he have done so if free? I doubt it.

This thread was started before the assassinations thread. Maybe Godot should stop feeling Grumpy and concentrate on Snow White instead.

I guess he's built up a lot of good Karma, Glancing at his Wiki profile it says he was closely associated with the founding of The Eagle comic. An interesting chap.

    Most Hated...

I'd like to nominate Robin Gibb, for two reasons. 1. The ridiculous wig he now wears. Robin in 2001 Robin in 2005 2. The God awful Christmas song he's doing with G4, which I had the misfortune to hear recently. It's an old Bee Gees number I believe and the lyrics are some of the worst I've ever heard. See here for the full awfulness. I feel much better now, better to get the vitriol out.

    Nazi of SS

Might I say that we should never forget the war. It highlights many important points that we can learn from. Whether it be, don't be too harsh in peace (1919), never vote a madman into power (1933), and never allow a hostile state to become too powerful (1933-9). I do disagree with the whole Basil Fawlty way of expressing the war. I do try to make a point (and often fail) that WW2 was against the Nazis and not the Germans. How willingly the German people accepted the Nazis, and therefore helped cause war, is up to the individual to decide. Not forgetting that American and British banks helped finance the fledgling Nazi State. The fear of Communism drove the capitalists into the arms of the extremists.

    Died With Their Boots On

It was just something I heard that's all. Our Captain Oates is a woman. That much I know. Amusing, that I never could see. Oh well. I suppose the good news for the Captain is that she's not dying. Then the good Captain must have cut herself loose from the restrictive bonds of mortality. A rare talent indeed.

    Died With Their Boots On

Sir Ranulph Twisleton-Wykeham-Fiennes. Anybody, who 4 months after double heart bypass surgery, goes on to run 7 marathons in 7 days is a good candidate for boots on death.

    The Remakable Banshees Scream

No but you did not predict one individual to die. I suppose RA the individual that croaked out of your 50 canidates was one who was in critical condition before you made the list? Who was it Rotten Ali - George Best. - Or something like it.. He had Richard Pryor on his original list of 50. Right near the bottom though. Either way - Anybody could put a list togeather containing 50 canidates but not everybody you pass on the street could name a celebrity and have them die soon after. Charlie Manson could.

    Tookie Williams

Rumor has it Arnold may run for president some day? But would that be a good idea since he was infact Terminator? Sometimes people compare him to Ronald Reagon who started out as a actor but later morphed into his political career. Even though I can't really recall any of the movies Reagon made I doubt he was anything similar to the Terminator. And yes Tookie keep those fingers behind your back crossed* As Arnie wasn't born an American, for him to be Prez, they'd have to change the constitution.

But the Addams family was based on cartoon strip, that had been around for some time, before it was turned into TV. What was the Munsters based on? Were they also originally a cartoon strip?
