    Death List Convention

It could be possible to organise a DL-AussieCon, but I'm not sure how many DLers are on this continent. I know Gunjaman5000 is, but he might as well be on the far side of the moon, seeing as he's gone native out in the west.

Now she's won one H, she's going to be bigger than ever...

    Post Of The Month

Grobler's tribute to Margaret Thatcher, Snatch Milker, and the ensuing dildoesque response from the ever mysterious TAFKAG rate up there for me.

    Seen Any Good Films Lately?

I think you are spot on with all these , my friend...but the question is....IS IT DESERVED ? the only one I personally would go for is Kate for best actress.....all the other "favourites" I have reservations about..... I managed to ignore most of a sickening tribute to Heath 'Hollywood icon, legend' Ledger, senora honez was watching on telly last night as I surfed the net on my laptop. You'd think he found the cure to cancer by the sound of the sycophantic twaddle they were spouting. He's a shoo in by the sound of it. I'm fighting the bile as I type. Edit. Yup. Heath Ledger, Hollywood icon, legend, Oscar winner and failed amateur pharmacist. Geronimo was on the money, except Sean Penn got the best actor gong.

    Docter Docter!

For our second kid, the obstetrician didn't turn up in time as she was caught up in traffic, so I was a lot more in the thick of things than I really had any right, or inclination, to be. I'd much rather have been part of the generation that paced around in the waiting room handing out Cuban cigars to all and sundry. Although looking back it was rather cool to have delivered our kid though. There's some serious bragging rights come the 21st birthday party.

    Death List Convention

I think you just elected yourself as Grand High Organiser. Congratulations. Be sure to let us know where and when you've arranged it this year.

    Docter Docter!

I think not. You've only got one appendix. That's why they're not called appendices.

    Michael Jackson

Not a mention of a qualified medical practitioner anywhere. Delusionary self-diagnosis. If he went to a public hospital anywhere in the world, they kick his lilly white arse out of there quicker than you could say beat it.

The only troll bigger than this lives under the Sydney Harbour bridge. I'm not taking the bait.

No chance - she'll be a gonner inside a month! Mothers Day - 22nd March - Dead by then! She's dead already, operating on spinal cord impulses only. The only problem is, no-one's noticed anything different. Her mouth still opens and shuts on impulse and there's a vague air of flatulence around, but like I said, unless you had access to her EEG, you wouldn't know her brain had stopped working months ago. Strangely, The Sun won't let me post this information on their Web Comments pages.

Be sure to post it in Room Lovely to balance the site out. It's developing a bit of a lean.

I believe "Sun" and "Reader" are mutually exclusive. Perhaps you misspelled drooler?
  16. When was the last time you went to hospital? The Doctor? The Dentist? Use elecrticity? Travel in a car? Plane? Train? On a boat? Hospital = about 2 years or so ago. Doctor = about a year ago. Dentist = last June. Use electricty = well that's a silly question! Car = yesterday Plane = 737 March last year. Train = Nottingham to Derby about a month ago. Boat = Thomas Land boating lake! - September last year. Point taken, but I'm on about just this one set of ideas/plans. In that trying to build a tiny black hole is too close to the wire to really be worth the risk of going beyond what can be controlled if something really bad goes wrong. Murphy's Law. If something can go wrong it will go wrong. Thus, I really can see the slim chance, that the whole frabric of our planet and solar system being ripped apart and blasted into some far flung reaches of our galaxy. Lots of scientists want us to travel to the stars and this could be just the way to do it! Only I don't want to do it any time soon thank you very much, especially immitating a strand of hair. ... I wish those scientists didn't meddle with electricity. One mistake and who knows, all those tiny electrons could arc up into a big lightning bolt that could burn the whole sky, or something. ... I wish those scientists didn't meddle with chemicals. One mistake and who knows, those hydrogen molecules could get loose and bind to all the oxygen to turn our air into water and we'd drown, or something. ... I wish those scientists didn't meddle with subatomic collisions. One mistake and who knows, that mini-mini-miniscule amount of mass might suddenly balloon up billions and billions of times into a black hole big enough to put a bend in spacetime that could suck the LHC and all of us into oblivion, or something. ... I wish ... oh, wait, I've already had my three wishes. Damn.
  17. It wasn't that long ago that I claimed the 100,000 post. I'm still waiting for my prize. The US Postal Service wouldn't let the DL commitee send you Banshee in the mail, so you'll have to make do with a couple of grams of Columbia's finest. If you haven't received it by now, you might want to nip down to your local police station and let them know someone's nicked your shipment of blow. Be sure to let us know how you go.

Now then, now then. Give the man a badge.
  19. My 2,000th post. Not a milestone Senora honez is particularly keen on. It's taken me a while, but it's all about quality not quantity. Apparently. I'll post a quality one eventually. Now all I need are more chimpanzees and more keyboards.

I wonder where that hive of investigative reporting got their information...
  23. Sorry my little pumpkin, you haven't been here as long as me. And seeing isn't the same as comprehension. I make it a point to avoid the obituary-hunting and professional death-mongering that some that tread these boards delight in. My DDP scores in recent years are testament to that. Welcome Raskol. Pull up a comfy chair and enjoy.
  24. Tempus Fugit. No doubt about. Can't see it myself. I'm sure Raskolnikov is new and if I were him, I'd be slightly freaked out by all of this nonsense. I'm new here, and slightly freaked out. I'm also Tempus Fugit and Star Crossed. I hope that puts all of this to rest now.
