MJ was not proven innocent! The jury found that there was not sufficient evidence to prove beyond all reasonable doubt that he was guilty. They delivered the only other verdict they were allowed--not guilty. Not being able to prove his guilt one hundred percent is a far, far cry from being innocent. What MJ's supporters will gladly gloss over, is the fact that this was deliberated before this went to trial. It was considered at the time that there was sufficient evidence against him to go to trial. Again, if he was truly innocent, it would never have gone to trial in the first place. The man is anything but innocent--they just didn't have enough to pin on him to make it stick beyond all reasonable doubt.

I would prefer to use a voting booth, not a public telephone box, to cast my vote. After all, there's probably a 50% better chance of the voting booth not having urine and vomit on the floor.

And anyway, are you saying that innocent people haven't been imprisoned for 20 years+ and/or executed under the Australian/British system before? I rather think they have, much to our shame.
