  1. I don't see what you're complaining about--apparently they're keeping all your family employed.

    Charlie Drake.

Neither have you apparently. I don't think iot will eb me on htat deathlist. I'm not famous, ill or old enough. You on the other hand, appear to have some sort of motor skills problem, so it may eb you htat deathlist before long. Just remember to become a celebrity for something better than being related to Drake, C.

You can touch it all day long if you like, you just can't take it home with you to meet your parents. And on a similar theme... Definition of a rugby scrum: One man, shoving four men's heads up three men's bums.

    There's no justice, just me

So what does phrenology tell us about you, considering your long snout, flat head and pointed ears Mr A.t. Jackal? I am little more than a common cut-purse, a horse-rustler and a mounteback. And you? I must a moonbase of some description, according to my cratered, almost geodesic scone.

Transportation to the colonies without all that dilly-dallying around with a trial and evidence, and all that rubbish. And for those of us in the colonies, what worse punishment could there be than being sent back? Yikes!

    UK Heatwave

Phew, must be a real stinker of a summer heatwave over there. I see from the BBC weather site it was 26C today and they are forecasting 24C for tomorrow. I don't know how all those old people aren't falling over like ninepins, seeing how it's such a scorcher an' all.

    Michael Jackson

MJ was not proven innocent! The jury found that there was not sufficient evidence to prove beyond all reasonable doubt that he was guilty. They delivered the only other verdict they were allowed--not guilty. Not being able to prove his guilt one hundred percent is a far, far cry from being innocent. What MJ's supporters will gladly gloss over, is the fact that this was deliberated before this went to trial. It was considered at the time that there was sufficient evidence against him to go to trial. Again, if he was truly innocent, it would never have gone to trial in the first place. The man is anything but innocent--they just didn't have enough to pin on him to make it stick beyond all reasonable doubt.

    Michael Jackson Poll

Oh, now you tell us the poll was on what we thought the verdict would be? I cast my vote on whether I thought he was guilty or not guilty, not what I thought the jury would be pushed into by the defence. Can we have a re-vote?

Sorry to disappoint, but not many 90+ year olds tend to go out that way, GS. I may be wrong, so why don't you ask an actuary what the odds are?

    Michael Jackson

I would prefer to use a voting booth, not a public telephone box, to cast my vote. After all, there's probably a 50% better chance of the voting booth not having urine and vomit on the floor.

    Schapelle Corby

Identical? I think not. The Australian legal system is based on the British system. Indonesia's is not. Nothing like almost identical as far as I'm concerned. And anyway, are you saying that innocent people haven't been imprisoned for 20 years+ and/or executed under the Australian/British system before? I rather think they have, much to our shame. On your other points, I hope you are right. I don't think Shapelle is anywhere near as innocent as Kerry Packer's media interests and money-men would have "us" believe.

    Wrestlers/actors

And lets not forget Eva Peron - only 33 when she went. "Eva's" popping off into an early grave must be something that's been well-known throughout the ages--there's even a bit in the lord's prayer wishing them all well...
  24. Adult black rhinos can weigh anywhere between 10 and 29 short hundredweight. I hope that helps.
