Hmm, let me see... So, your wife is a mad keen fan of Patrick? She watches everything he's been in does she? I think I get the picture. She watches everything he's ever done, again, and again, and again. She is his number one fan, and she wants to write to him to let him know. But, to do this, she needs an address or some other way to contact him. She's desperate for it. She's gotta have it. She must have it. She's so desperate, she's even enlisted her husband to help feed her desire to get her letters--her private letters--to Patrick. She doesn't want Patrick to think that she's invading his privacy, because she's not mad or anything. But she needs him to read her words. He needs to read them. He just doesn't know it yet. Of course they're not just any letters. They're her letters: Her special thoughts; her innermost secrets. All of them, just for him. Just for Patrick--my oh, so special Patrick. She sits on the couch, night after night, watching. Again, and again, and again. Frantically scribbling her thoughts on pieces of paper, sealed away in envelopes. Ready for Patrick. All she needs is the address. Breathless and transfixed, she watches him on the flickering blue-white screen. In the study her husband searches for Patrick on the Internet... "What's this? A hit? On google... Deathlist..." Hmmm... Sorry. Can't help you I'm afraid.

What does this mean? Just my poor attempt at a little joke.

Good afternoon, from one of the corners of the Earth

I can only speak for myself, not the rest of the "sickos" on this list, but I for one do know something, I have a job, I am not on benefit and I can afford newspapers thank you very much. Incidentally, barging in on a forum as a guest and refering to the posters as "sickos" in your first post would generally be regarded as poor form. If you'd taken the time to look around the forum, you'd see that we wish Mr Smart no ill will, we are just debating the extent of his illness. If his prognosis really is as good as you say, then surely you should feel glad and even a little proud that your uncle's reputation and general standing in life achievements has meant that he's being discussed on this forum, in all corners of the globe. Something most of us will never achieve, yourself included. P.S. One of the things I do know, is that "I am" or "I'm" is usually spelled like that. Not "am." P.P.S. Another one of the things I know, which you may also be interested to learn, is that sentences usually start with a capital letter. I hope that helps. P.P.P.S. And whilst I'm at it, I may as well point out that you seem to be missing the words "need" and "to" in your sentence for it to make sense. If you are going to rant, at least you could try to make it look like you're semi-literate, nephew Smart.

Which makes me think of the TISM song about River Phoenix... (He'll never be an) Old Man River Looking at the lyrics, it could almost be DL's theme tune.

That depends on the circumstances Josco was referring to. They probably look alike in the dark and in the heat of the moment. Eh, Josco?

Well, you learn something new every day... I didn't realise birds of prey ate nothing.

I heard that Dodi was such a gentleman, he always insisted that Di came first.

What do you mean "sitcom?" Surely that's not true. For it to be described as a sitcom, that would mean there had to be some comedic portion to it, no matter how minescule. And that's something that clearly, was never the case.

Let me just translate this... I'm so glad that PS decided to share these words of wisdom with us. I feel almost enlightened by them. It's as though the doors of my perception have been cleansed. I can see things as they truly are; drug-addled crap talk.

And then there were three... WWI digger Gilbert Bennion dies at 106

Anyway, as interesting as this is, I think we should get back on topic. Those sort of perverts get their kicks from the likes of us discussing their heinous activities online, so this kind of thing is just playing into their hands. Sick bastards So can we drop this whole runescape thing? I mean, discussing pigs and Billy Graham is all right, but runescape? Come on.
-
If you would search google, you would find over 250 web sites completely based on that game. You'd also find 3,300 with reference to "sex with pigs" but you wouldn't catch me doing that either. and a google search on people who have sex with pigs while playing runescape gets you 459 hits. Sick bastards.

Ah, the old "Don't do as I do, do as I say," technique.

Well, good friends with two kids together. And both Sarandon and Robbins are annoying, arogant twunts. People who live priviledged lifestyles and try to tell others how best to live theirs really put me off. Currently in the US, George Bush (the elder) and Bill Clinton keep appearing on my TV together telling me it's the American way to give money to the charity they're shilling. To hell with them; when they, or any other "celebrity" who pushes for me to give to their favorite cause, has given away all but the meagerest amount of their millions and is living like the rest of the middle class, then I will listen to them. Until then, I will continue to root vigorously for their misery/death. Exactomundo. If they expressed their "generous" donation in terms of their total nett worth or disposable assetts, then we'd see their generousity in its true light. When someone's on $50k a year with a mortgage to pay off, giving anything to charity is a very noble thing. When someone worth tens of millions gives, say $5k (that they don't need and can generally get tax breaks from), falls somewhat flat by comparison.

A Pitchman perhaps? ie, a hawker, salesman, or other low-life, bottom feeding, scum-sucking, tromboning animal.

So that would have made Cyril Fletcher & Esther Fletchee? (Apologies to none-UK residents) Also a quick question... is that pronounced Run/Escape or roon-scape? I suspect the latter, but the former would be much better.

The chances are significantly lower for Fred Dibnah, RIP, being my father than they are for my mother's husband. [That bloke who sits on the sofa, drinking cups of tea with wild abandon, shamelessly claims that he's my dad.]

Well that's got to be correct then if Google's got other people's pages listed. I, on the other hand, prefer the slightly stodgier approach of using a dictionary for matters pertaining to spelling, not an Internet search engine that lists any old crap people throw at it. Next thing you know you'll be telling me that NASA don't know Jack and we never got to the moon. It must be true because I saw someone's crappy little page about it listed on Google.

Duh! Of course there is. There's the USA, Europe, the rest of the Empire and then there's those other countries that all those other Johnny foreigners come from.

I can't agree more. Another German can obviously understand English to be able to contribute such a good point in context. Posting in English would add credence in this (English language) forum.
