I think it's fair to say that I won't be remembering him at all, not having the first clue who he was until you enlightened me!
-
True, but to be fair it was a coherent and sensible rant which makes a nice change from some of the others (and not just guests either).......

Suppose I'll get to be head of the Tote, then............
-
I went to University after A-Levels, then got a proper job and studied for a Masters degree and now have settled into middle management - does this make me boring or an exception for this forum?
-
Ironic if it was lung cancer.........

What's wrong with Proportional Representation, that's what I want to know!
-
So offended you couldn't bring yourself to post on the disrespectful site....er....oh....er....oops! Also interesting that you can manage words like "disrespectful" but much more difficult words like "so" seem to be beyond you...........
-
And what was your take on the TV series "starring" Harry Enfield?
-
You read Private Eye too then, Mr Josco?
-
Let's just hope that Mr Marsden is still frequenting the pages of DL to read that post. Who is Dennis Revell anyway?
-
Straight from the Doris Stokes school of prediction! And let's not even get onto the subject of religion........

Comedy & Death - Great Combination

Does anyone else find this highly unlikely? -
Does anyone else see the irony in a Dutch person providing more support to Kilroy than any of the English people??

You have suggestive pictures of ponies? Hmm, did you have to emigrate to Oz on police advice? After all, what with their reputations for sheep etc......... Nice new avatar, by the way - whatever could it be referring to -

A great analogy, and one wonders if it is borne out of experience........ -
I would advise anyone who wonders what on earth this is all about to try here. Sadly, Michael Staniforth who played Mr Timothy Claypole died in 1987 of an AIDS related illness. There aren't too many left from the Rentaghost glory years........

I think the main paradox here is that if this site is disgusting, wierd etc etc then why join in? Added to which, I don't think that this is a disgusting etc site compared to quite a few others readily available on the net. Here's how I would summarise: Step 1: Get a list of old/ill people. Step 2: Discuss which ones are closer to dying Step 3: Create list of 50 people who you think will die this year It's not like we have a street party whenever one of them dies, it's just that the majority of contributers have a greater awareness of the transient nature of life and appreciation of their own (and everyone elses) mortality. Criticism (constructive) isn't dismissed, but surely by posting and contributing you are undermining your own argument that the site shouldn't be posted on or contributed to? -
Still political related, anyone care to set up a DL poll to see what the split of party affiliations is amongst members? My guess is that we should be able to pin down the 1 Tory vote quite reliably.......
-
Not wishing to enter into a political arguement with anyone (even if they do support the Tories), but here's an interesting site that might reveal hidden socialist tendencies that lie within Mr Josco et al......... www.whoshouldyouvotefor.com

Looks like we might have to mind the Giap........

My first car was a smokers-cough green Yugo Zastava 120L Five - now if anyone could find a picture of one of them I'd be seriously impressed!

What was DeathList's best death ever?
The Four Horsemen replied to Banshees Scream's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
I first happened upon the DL while looking for info on Kenneth Kendall and have never looked back. He's still alive and running an art gallery in the Isle of Wight, apparently - also never married and significantly bulkier than his newsreading or Treasure Hunt days......... -
I think that theory is being trialled by Clive Dunn this year...........

Denis Norden has made a career out of it, and let's not mention the Beadle.......
