The Windsor males really don't seem to have the art of aging gracefully.

I'll be surprised if he's alive after this long a silence, but the latest reports seem to indicate that he may be. Not sure what his abductors are hoping to achieve by this sort of behaviour; it doesn't look as though many people are in sympathy with them.
-
Yep, me too. Has he told everyone to take a hike at one time or another?
-
I am very well aware that it wasn't a scholarly work. That still doesn't preclude the use of Google. Numpty.
-
He was an all out Nazi Sympathiser - both he and the Duchess of Windsor. That's part of the reason they were shipped off to Barbados (I think it was Barbados) during the war. It was the Bahamas, not Barbados. You do have access to Google, I hope?

Apparently it's still Provoke-Windsor Day.
-
Now there's a thought. I did go back there today and add a wolf avatar and a link to a wildlife organisation, but "gone to the dark side" does have a certain ring to it.
-
Don't worry, I didn't mean it. Like I said a few posts back, I thought every day was a provoke-Windsor day, and it seems that I was successful. I'm not looking for another moderator assignment this soon after chucking the last one. And no, please, it doesn't mean you can go back to trolling over there. They're a good bunch of people, and they're not responsible for my inability to get along with the owner.

I'll recommend you, were you any good? Oh, yeah, just great. Flaming row with the boss, walking out without any notice - just what you need! Apparently the boss didn't, judging from his response. Oh well.
-
Probably should, at that. But I took my crown with me.
-
So it's either poisoning or strangulation but they can't quite figure out which? Whatever.
-
What's this then? Provoke Windsor day? Get lost. And here's me thinking every day is provoke Windsor day. You people still looking for mods? I told the owner of the Royal Forums where to stick it and resigned the other day so I'm available.

What on earth? Is this a polite way of referring to pancreatitis and liver cirrhosis brought on by too much drinking? Or are they saying he's just grown a third lung or what in the world are they on about?

Strip The Moderaters Of Their Meagre Powers?
Entropy replied to Star Crossed's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
So when will you be making Windsor an Administrater, then? -
Well, better to be affected by Landover Baptist than by Westboro Baptist.
-
There are some creationists out there who reject atomic theory too. These people just don't like science very much.
-
I quoted it, I didn't write it myself.
-
Whatever.
-
Well, I dunno about looking it (although there is something vaguely simian about Ken Ham), but they certainly sound it. Anyway, I've sent Albion over there to needle him a bit.
-
Wonder if it's worth registering over there. I see Notapotato is trying to convert him to Pastafarianism. I suppose that NOTapotato very well could be pasta, couldn't it? I HATE seeing people being as pig-ignorantly closed-minded as these bloody creationists. I mean, he's rejecting a significant part of modern rational thought just because some charlatan has fed him this line that Jesus wants his personal friends to be driven by superstition, not by reason.

That Miami Herald article is listed as an opinion piece, so it's not going to pretend to be objective. Which doesn't necessarily make it completely incorrect, of course, but it's still an opinion piece rather than a news story. The thing is that regardless of how Castro finally dies - and the idea that he'd have preferred a quick death to a long slow decline due to cancer isn't exactly unusual - he can't go on much longer as a hands-on head of state at his age anyway, so I don't know why they're even considering the long term.
-
So far everything's doing fine, thanks for asking. No idea about the Kensington Palace remembrance, to be honest; nobody's said anything. How do you know about it? Please don't tell me you were there, shedding nostalgic tears in her memory.

Behave yourself, dear...
-
Sorry. Had to bump this. It's my favourite post! The Good Ol' Days, eh? You're too kind...

No, I wasn't calling you a liar, Banshees. It was more a comment on the usual quality of your grammar, syntax, and spelling. What you describe as syntax could be a positive. Overall latley I think my spelling has been relatively good. You mean, apart from the spelling of lately? I scored 28 on that Asperger's test. Maybe I should go and find a shrink or something.
