Canadian-American essayist and humorist David Rakoff has died of cancer at 47. I've never heard of him, but his Wikipedia page is pretty big so I figure I should have.

Only a month after the death of his son Sage, Sylvester Stallone's 48-year-old half-sister Toni Ann Filiti is in critical condition at a UCLA hospital, suffering from Stage IV lung cancer that has spread to her brain. -
The Myanmar government has freed 33-year-old death row inmate Phyo Wai Aung, who allegedly committed a bombing in 2010 and has since become a human rights cause, due to the fact that he is suffering from liver cancer and is paralyzed from the waist down because of it.

Ideas And Possibilities For 2013

Paranormal State is a show on A&E that is one of many shows featuring 30-something dudes in black walking around creepy places at night with a camera and freaking out over the slightest of noises. Of these shows, Paranormal State is probably one of the least watched. But it's still big enough to guarantee an obituary in the United States. I doubt he'll get an obituary anywhere in the UK besides the Daily Mail, but that's good enough to go on my DDP shortlist. -

Shame, I don't think I can take seeing the too-soon death of another star of the amazingly terrible after Dennis Hopper. -
Photo of Bill Clinton from last Saturday: Wow he doesn't look good at all. I think there is a small but good chance jimmy carter and George bush sr will outlive him . I think he looks like a old man who's started a vegan diet for some time. He's fine.

I was just about to post the same story. I'll definitely watch this, but don't be surprised if it's to cover something up. Jackson has been under scrutiny before. It's depession. http://www.foxnews.c...for-depression/ And for "gastrointestinal issues" apparently, which could be something to look into. We're definitely not getting the full story, but I don't think it's an addiction to something. Jackson's wife says that her husband is "still very depressed."

For those willing to try the ever-risky struggling young cancer patient route; the latest human interest story circulating around the internet is that of 31-year-old Arizona State University doctoral student Arijit Guha, who got the CEO of Aetna, his health insurance company, to pay for every penny of his medical bills while he struggles against Stage IV colon cancer. Guha is also behind "Poop Strong", a parody of Lance Armstrong's "Live Strong" cancer organization. -
LaMotta is keeping busy working as a consultant on "The Bronx Bull", a new biopic based on his life that will go into more depth than Raging Bull, and on stage in a two-week showing of a 50-minute cabaret-style play called "The Lady and the Champ" which is also based on his life. My guess is LaMotta will die just around the time The Bronx Bull is about to hit theaters, so the obituaries can say what a tragedy is was that he didn't get to see it.

Probably wouldn't even get you points in an American dead pool. The Wisconsin State Assembly isn't exactly the most powerful group, and she wasn't even a major member of that. -

I'm glad that I didn't list him because I don't think he will die and it was from the "Telegraph". Also, is Daniel Geiges still alive? He was a terminally ill uranium smuggler who provided North Korea and a few third world countries with atomic knowledge. President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo of Guinea, Syrian politician Riad Seif and political prisoner Shing Ming Teh were also terminally ill and have never died. All those people were all either on trial, which would prompt them to lie about their health to get out of a sentence, or are prone to rumors about their health. Yoshida has no reason to lie about his health, as it's generally agreed he wasn't at fault and probably saved lives by ignoring the governments orders. -
The National Enquirer has made Culkin the latest person on their "6 MONTHS TO LIVE!" list, claiming he has nearly overdosed on heroin and also is addicted to oxycodone, Perocdet, and other drugs. Apparently "V I C O D I N" alerts the spam filter.

Bill Clinton is due to give a speech at the DNC soon, you should see how he looks there before you junp to any conclusions based pff a tabloid photo.

Looking at the poll results, it's obvious to me now that the 9th hit will probably be Eli Wallach, Erich Priebke, Chapman Pincher, Herbert Lom, or Nelson Mandela. Just so no one will get it right.
-
I don't, although you forgot to change the total living members in 2007. It's 20 now.

A miss for the DeathList is a hit for me. Perhaps a Gore Vidal quote is appropriate here: "It is not enough to succeed - others should fail." RIP.

The obituary link for Tony Martin on the latest update links to an obituary for Yitzhak Shamir instead. Thought you should know.

Bill Doss, guitarist and lead singer of and co-founder of The Elephant 6 Recording Company which includes indie rock giants Neutral Milk Hotel, of Montreal, and Apples in Stereo, has died aged 43 of unknown causes. Saddest I've been from a musicians death since MCA.

How exactly would her passing have messed up the Olympics? She's not playing any part in it whatsoever It'd force the British media to change their tone from patriotic exuberance to a somber In Memoriam piece, followed by an increased debate in whether or not she was a good Prime Minister or just a Milk Snatcher.

yea the record is 14 i think we're on course to beat it , if we keep up the pace we are on now. Yes, 2003 and 2008. To get near the record the drop rate needs to pick up a bit, but it's certainly possible. regards, Hein Way I see it, our drop rate right now is 2 hits a month. 2 in May, 2 in June, 2 in July. Should we keep that pace for the rest of the year, we'd finish with 18.
