I was beginning to think that 2007 would be a quiet year... mind you it is only one I suppose. The first of many though.......

Vera is a poor choice for 2007. She'll happily see 2008.

I agree with the recent guest-poster about Lady Bird Johnson. I think she'll be one of the first successes of 2007.

I think that Anna Wing who played Eastenders' matriarch Lou Beale from 1985 to 1988 is a definate possibility for 2007. I read recently that she's not been very well and on October 30th 2007 she reaches the grand old age of 93. True, she's a spring chicken when compared to the likes of Brooke Astor, but a definite possiblity in my book. [Topics merged -- MH]
