I don't think this is too much of a mystery. Losing the 7st probably just allowed the ladies in question to rationalise potentially getting their hands on some of his cash/celeb status. They do have some standards you know. I think this is known as The Crouch Law -

I've just realised why this list is such a blank for me and it is Chris Evans fault. It was around this time that he took over the Radio 1 breakfast show so I went straight from Radio 1 to Radio 4 in my car and I had just got married and my wife did not do Radio so the only ones I know are those that have had impacts elsewhere or have survived onto the modern Radio 2 playlist -

I was using the two lowest ranked scores at the time of posting as the metric by which I judged whether this was feasible to finish today. If there is a battle this will go well into tomorrow. As only three of my seven selections remain I will be upvoting them and one of them is Sleeping Satellite I don't dislike any of the remaining six but the two dance tracks are probably the weakest (much preferred Mr Vain) -

Of the 24 people who voted on Thursday only seven remain to vote today which is not enough to see off the two remaining stragglers so this does look like it will extend into tomorrow. -

For me I am not surprised at TT no doing well in the competition format. Without going into the merits of the individual tracks they are here because they are Take That not because of the track quality. Later some might do better and I imagine Robbie Williams solo stuff might be better received but at the moment they are being treated as an overhyped boy band. I imagine the same (possibly even harsher) treatment will be dealt out to Boyzone and Westlife. -

The original concept of Mr Blobby was quite funny. Celebrities thought they were part of a new kids show where they would inform the loveable character about their specialist subject but when it came to the take Mr Blobby would cause chaos. The original segment with Garth Crooks trying to explain the offside rule is probably the best example. There was a wonderful moment a couple of years later at a Test Match where Richie Beneau saw a member of the crowd in a Mr Blobby costume and was clearly nonplussed and described him as "somesort of egg man" My dear late Mother-in-law thought Mr Blobby was great and even knitted Mr Blobbies for her Grandchildren -
Which KoS should be played next?
Bibliogryphon replied to Book's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
I see that the line up for Eurovision 2023 is complete. We could do a predict the result KoS using the semi final format of the actual content. We would all be coming in blind so might throw up some interesting results. Might be worth giving people 48 hours notice of the line up to listen to the songs Just a thought
