Listened to a bit of Sounds of the Sixties on Saturday with Johnny Walker filling in. He was all over the place getting things wrong, getting confused. It was quite chaotic. He and Tony may be in a race to the finish line.

Kill or Save: UK No.1-hits of the 90s

Vogue was second on my ranking just behind The Beautiful South. Considering how much attention we gave Lauren Bacall as the last Survivor from Vogue it is no surprise that we have given it this accolade 70s, 80s & 90s all won by Female vocalists. Sandi Shaw is positively rubbing her hands in anticipation -

I remember it being an issue when George H W Bush was President as he had a bout of ill health and everyone was concerned that Dan Quayle might become president. We then had six terms where the President was a relatively young man. I think Biden will survive until 2029.

According to Kamala Harris' twitter feed she is still on the ticket One of the suggestions behind the 2016 result was that African-Americans did not come out to vote for a Hillary/Tim ticket Kamala is there for a reason. She has not made much of an impact in the two years since Biden took office but I think if re-elected she will be much more prominent with her eye on 2028
