Well this is awkward because that is not a qualifying obituary as the rules on page 1 clearly state it needs to be in English. However This is a QO but it is for Eric Carle who is my pick. Apologies to @chilean way

No problem who knows when the next one will come around Thanks for letting me know

The English Language

That warrants an outing for the brilliant Fry & Laurie card shop sketch. My Dad was always very good at remembering everyone in the families birthday including all our partners but his eyesight got very bad just before he had to give up living alone. One birthday my wife opened a card from him with beautiful flowers on but it was a with sympathy card. My wife told me that I was absolutely not allowed to tell him. I told the story at his funeral. -
There is one group where the selections are distinctly narrower than the others.

At the time of his death. No submitted team had picked Joe Beckwith

At What Age Should One Retire?
Bibliogryphon replied to Deathray's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
I was able to claim my British Coal pension at 50 but it is not enough to retire on. -
I would give 6 maybe 7 of those the nod

Fortunately I haven't aged too badly. I have photos of my father when he was the same age and I look better than he did but he lived to be 90. Although I have slight health issues beginning to creep in. Fortunately my daughter knows better than to comment on our ages and we are often younger than her contmpories parents

Now my daughter has passed beyond the education system school holidays which used to dominate our thinking now just happen to someone else
-
There is still over a week to go but remember the final day for entries is Bank Holiday Monday
-
Twelve Still waiting for defending champ @Banana and previous winner@RoverAndOut

If it is a long game anyone can win it

Felt a bit sorry for Austria and yes Greece was the weakest of the qualifiers.

When will Harry and meghan divorce if at all?
Bibliogryphon replied to the_engineer's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
If you are going to do that the decision needs to be taken now. When the Queen dies there will be such a cacophony of nationalist grief sharing that the Republicans won't get a look in. They tend to have notoriously tone deaf timing anyway. I think it will undergo considerable trimming before its demise but I am not sure I will live to see it. -
I got MariNisia's entry so all is good. Eleven days to go
-
I'll have a clear out
-
@MariNisia Yes as long as they were credited or it is on their Wiki page or IMDB
-
Rennie Stennett was also an unpicked eligible selection who is now out of Contention
-
Not watched the trailer but that still doesn't look great. I know he is my contemporary and I would say he look more like 60 than 50
-
Lee Evans no longer an eligible pick in Summer Olympic Gold medallists category. Had not yet been selected

In Paul comment above She is releasing a new album would become they are releasing a new album

I think he should have a fair amount of the credit for Leicester's Premier League victory. It started with the astonishing run to save us from relegation the previous season.
