    That Portillo Moment

Looks like Boris will side step a Portillo moment and parachute into Alan Duncan's Melton Mowbray constituency. Which provides a delicious cockney rhyming slang irony as Melton is the home of pork pies.

    By-Election Bingo 2017-22

Thanks for the vote of confidence everyone. I can confirm I will run a 2019-2024 By-election bingo game. It will open in a new thread sometime around the beginning of December but the stupid timing of this election means that players will have until 31st January 2020 to get their teams in.

    David Dimbleby

Jim Naughtie is someone I always like. I thought he was good on Today and he has gravitas.

That way any Labour victory can be portrayed as a great night for the Conservatives.

    By-Election Bingo 2017-22

This looks like it is cruising to another early finish and at the moment could be just a score draw. With the only losers being The people who didn't pick Paul Flynn and The British Electorate. Although it stays running until The Queen officially dissolves parliament. The new Parliament will be messy. Is there time for full scrutiny of candidates and it could be the ugliest and most poisonous campaign ever. However this might mean that the non death by elections might be more interesting. However before I get ahead of myself who wants me to run By-election Bingo 2019-2024?

What are the chances with Chris Doleman. He was off my radar until a player picked him as a widcard in my work game but at the moment he could be the decider if he were to go in 2019

    British Character Actors

That is really what my Unusual Suspects team is. I top it up with people who have not been picked for the DDP in the past 6 six years but the poor showing this year might mean that those unpicked selections are getting too young to be realistic
