It depends how the ERG want to play this. Now Theresa May can ignore them and she may decide to deliver a much softer brexit that Labour could support. Long term damage to the Tory party but it gets her through her current crisis. -

Agree with start point. But after JC wins election he is replaced as leader with a Remainer who either holds another referendum or arbitarily cancels Brexit. Which allows your Far Right party to gain ground. Same result.
