Films with entirely dead casts
Bibliogryphon replied to Spade_Cooley's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Might make a pool around this topic. Players would pick any film with at least three survivors and they would submit the film and their three picks. Later players would not be allowed the same film but actors could overlap. When all three from the film are gone a new round would start but no films from the previous round would be carried over. If there is interest I will open a Pool thread. -
That would only be evidence if any of the songs she had made previously were coherent.

I bought that book for 10p in The Works during a clearout. There are some interesting counter-factuals but there is a seriously disturbed atheist wank fantasy about The Assassination of Pope Benedict.

Matthew Perry recovering from abdominal surgery. Link

Scientists, Inventors And Techno Wizards
Bibliogryphon replied to maryportfuncity's topic in DeathList Forum
James Lovelock was interviewed on the Today programme this morning. He was talking about impending environmental Armageddon but was sounding coherent and chipper for a 99 year old. -
A small amount of excitement in this pool. Ian Paisley Jr potentially faces a by-election if 7543 of his consituents sign a recall petition. Details This will be known in 6 weeks and is a unique pick for @GraveDanger

So .. What Do You Watch On TV?
Bibliogryphon replied to Banshees Scream's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Throughout the episode as each character enters a scene you can shout Dead or Alive. -
I would play.

No Bernard Hepton.

So who do we replace him with? Glyn Houston is the oldest on my long list (b.1926) or there is Z-Cars stalwart Frank Windsor. John Woodvine and Bernard's Secret Army co-star Clifford Rose will both be 90 next year but Ian Holm has been rumoured to be in poor health.

It is definitely not The Most Expensive Machine in the Hospital.

Lindsay was performing earlier this month and Kate sent flowers. I am not going to take issue with her politics. She is a child of privilege whose talent has allowed her to dictate the terms of her own career. Though I think some of her leftie friends from that list might be less than impressed.

Kate Bush turned 60 yesterday. She lost a lot of weight for her concert the other year and is a vegetarian. I don't think she will be troubling the list until at least 2040. Barring accidents.

Deathlist Dreaming
Bibliogryphon replied to harrymcnallysblueandwhitearmy's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Well I am now about the same age as Nigel Hawthorne was when Yes Minister began. End of similarity. -
In good years there is a cluster of deaths in the Autumn. Not sure that is coming I am going for a grand total of 11 +/- 1 Herman Wouk Leah Bracknell John McCain Leslie Phillips Vera Lynn

Today is day 208. We are now running well behind all the 'big' years. The 7th death in 2016 occured on 17th August and there were 12 hits that year. The 7th death in 2014 was on 12th September and there were 10 hits that year. Seven was the total number of hits in 2011.

Imran Kahn prospects of list inclusion must have gone up this week.

Just wondering if it is some sort of race memory for the 46/47 winter that causes everyone to panic by milk and bread at the first forecast of snow.
