That is a win for you. It is always the player in the first set of brackets
-
Sorry but I nabbed Judith to replace Gudrun
-
Gudrun Ure is a hit here
-
I have updated the list to put the actual person who would win from the pick in bold (where there are multiple picks) Unfortunately you have been trumped on all your possible outs but with 6 hits you only need a few more hits to take them back
-
On X there does seem to be a general acceptance that 'coming to an end' means what it said but it could be a case of people just taking an opportunity to post and opinion about Carter. If I was not on here the number of posts about Carter in the past few hours would make me think his demise was imminent
-
Gudrun Ure is my first hit here
-
Takes me up to second place on the Theme team league. I am joint 82 in the main DDP but pardon my excitement this is so much better than I usually do

34. Alice Munro yw, mn, ph, ti, gr, to, bp, di @Toast finally catches their break in this round being the only person to move into a winning position from the passing of Alice Munro in the Time category. Only needing a Brit winner to complete the one in each category line. However @gcreptile still has the monopoly on most of the good picks so there are only two additional option Julie Covington and the stealing of John Williams from under the nose of @RoverAndOut as Toast has more hits overall (but only just) Is the finish line in sight?

I predict the grim reaper is going to confound sceptics and be its most powerful yet like a super strong enema in 2024 moreso than recent years equalling or even beating 2020

Gudrun Ure played Desdemona opposite Orsen Wells as Othello on Broadway which is a pretty big deal. Global notoriety should not be measured through the narrow prism of one person's interests or experiences -

Watched Space Babies this morning. It felt like a whimsical short story and I am fine with that as long as the meatier stuff is to come. The two leads are excellent
