Legendary soul singer Marvin Gaye died 30 years ago today...
I heard that through the grapevine
I am so so sorry (I couldn't stop myself)

Marvin's looking OK (centre)
Apart from the terrible pain in all his diodes down his left side

A picture is worth a thousand words.
This is the reunited radio cast of THHGTTG for a live recording on Radio 4 on Saturday.
Note Stephen Moore (back left). The others looks OK for now and long may they stay so.

I'm very sad to report the news that the actress Kate O'Mara has died aged 74. She was of course best known for playing the Rani in Mark of the Rani and Time of the Rani. She also had a b it part in a show called Dynasty playing Joan Colllins sister http://www.itv.com/n...a-dies-aged-74/
Although her appearances were in two of the less well respected stories. Time and the Rani is worth checking out for Kate O' Mara's hilarious impersination of Bonnie Langford which she keeps up for a couple of episodes. Possibly the nadir of Doctor Who writing.
RIP Kate.

I think this is something that would take up a lot of space
Maybe it should have it's own website.

Terry Pratchett is the only person on the 2014 Deathlist that I have actually met. I went to a couple of signing sessions he did in the late eighties, early nineties he always tried to interact with his fans and was very patient, came across as a nice guy. Most of the Discworld books my wife has are signed but now you can only get signed copies through a particular website.
This is one hit for the list I don't want.
well the way things are going you're probably going to have many more years to meet them all ..
For a guest post that was quite funny.
If I had to pick one I would want to meet it would be Christopher Lee.

just heard her on radio 4. she say's she's not very well and might not be able to finish her latest book
That would be very rude of her as I dropped her from my theme team because I believed her chances of surviving the year looked good.
I will probably need to bring her back for next year.

The UK's chief medical officer now says that obsesity is becoming the norm.
I find this difficult to believe. I work for an organisation with about 200 people and only a very small number are very fat.
Where are all these obese people?
It is not as if they are easy to hide.

Newsreaders were pronouncing "Le Wren", as if identifying a small songbird in franglais.what a daft name, L'Wren.
Is it a cre8tiv spelling of Lauren, do you think? I have no idea how it's supposed to be pronounced.
She changed her name from L'uann.
Maybe our fellow deathlister might want to be know as L'ard from now on?

A chinese street vendor sees his business soar in popularity after people notice how similar he looks to Kim....
Soon, all North Korean men will look like Kim wrong-un
Imagine if we all had to look like David Cameron.

Ray Cooney (b.1932) is back on stage in his own revival of Two into One in the West End.
He hasn't been picked by any DDP teams which is probably a good call.
