Yes? In that case you'll appreciate this Twixter post by Tom Bennett, son of the recently deceased Take Hart/Hartbeat alumnus Colin Bennett. (click on link; see second tweet in the thread).
Worst one was Robert Hardy being described as Harry Potter star

Milkshake was on a Now Decades compilation I had and I recognised the title of the Rihanna song but otherwise it is a massive blank. I think I will do better in the next round as that will coincide with my daughter's secondary school era when I used to take her in in the car and she would listen to Chris Moyles on Radio 1

Chemistry of transition metals with regard to nanochemistry. Somebody here will probably know what that means.
Maybe he was an expert in Copper Nanotubes......

I would support it. I think it would be educational and probably no worse than the 2000s

Absolutely. I found this on a couple of compilations and it really grew on me. If it goes through it will go to the top of my Finalists ranking so far

I have got to the stage where I don't hate anything that is left but would swap any one of three of the current top seven to get Cry Me A River through

There are less than 100 points in the last four which could be less than 20 plays but only if all the minus points go to the bottom four and all the plus points to the top seven. I am thinking a finish on Monday possibly quite early

7 minutes ago, En Passant said:Is what Thatcher would or wouldn't have thought or done actually germane?
She was about as divisive a figure as we have ever had as a PM.
I mean if we could dig up dead ex-leaders for their take on current politics where would we stop exactly?
Would Winston have been pro or anti Brexit? Now you've got me wondering...Hm, EU....Probably not in fairness if Germany were in it.....
My understanding was that Winston wanted to join the European Coal & Steel Community (the precursor of the EEC) but De Gaulle said no which is why we didn't join until the Seventies
This whole thing came from who would be a good leader for the current Conservative party who would satisfy the likes of BonScott. This is not necessarily the same as who could win a leadership election under current Conservative party rules or who would be appealing to the wider electorate

Clutching at straws now. The Maastricht Treaty created the EU, without it the EU wouldn't have come into being. If she was against the signing of the creation of it, she was against it. I don't understand why that's difficult to understand. When the Brexit vote was delivered I was furious. However I recognised that this was now the world we were living in so the best thing to do was try to minimise the impact of Brexit and deliver the best possible Brexit for the entire country. However the far right of the Conservative party kept moving the goal posts until a best compromise was not an option.
Thatcher was a pragmatist. In a binary choice with the world watching yes she probably would have joined the Leave campaign but I think she would not have proposed a no deal Brexit as some in her party did

Her letter to Sir Bill Cash here would suggest otherwise...
I've spoken to several of her close friends subsequent to her death and they all say she would have wanted to leave had she still been around (and had she still had her marbles!).I think there is a distinction between not voting for Maastricht and wanting to leave the entire block (and also would she have wanted to leave in a way that was so detrimental to British Buisness?)

Sorry but BonScott is actually correct on this one. The EEC and the EU are completely different kettles of fish. Thatcher was in favour of the former. She came out heavily against further integration and political union in her latter years. It's all chronicled online. Also worth remembering that the Europhiles of those days were... the Labour Party! Labour didn't change their stance on their relationship with the EU until the 1990s. Around the same time the SNP did. Sinn Fein were later I think.I get the distinction but I do not think that Margaret Thatcher would have gone down the Brexit route in the same way her cheerleaders such as Mark Francois think she would. She always put on a very robust attack on the areas where she felt that UK interests were not best served by the actions of the EU but she recognised the value of the market place and would not be 'Fuck Business' as Boris once said
These people are cosplaying a fantasy version of Conservatism that never really existed

You say that but as a teetotaller, vegetarian just as I left my previous job I was identified as prediabetic but working from home under the watchful eye of Mrs Biblio she managed to get it under control. Probably the hot chocolate from the vending machine every morning and the pack of Aldi chocolate biscuits in my work drawer may have been contributing to the problem

So young, this will be almost certainly vaccine related at that age as no mention of an accident, and when someone commits suicide the article almost always includes the phone number of the SamaritansUntil an official cause of death is announced responsible journalists will try to stick to the facts and this is a case of wanting to pay tribute without speculation. What a very strange assertion this is.
