Stephen Covey, author of The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, has died after doing something he clearly was not very effective at: riding a bike.

Most people are saying Ri Yong Ho, army chief of North Korea until today, has been ousted from his post under the guise of an undisclosed illness, but in actuality, he's being removed due to an internal power struggle. Who knows with that place, but it's still something to keep an eye on. Maybe if he's not dying naturally, he'll be 'taken out'.

I was just about to post the same story. I'll definitely watch this, but don't be surprised if it's to cover something up. Jackson has been under scrutiny before. Has been stated that he has a 'mood disorder' and is receiving intensive care for it.

Kristin Chenoweth has been hospitalised after an on-set accident filming The Good Wife.

I didn't mean the son, I meant the father. Hans Kristian won't die anytime soon, agreed.

As this fascinating Rausing saga unfolds, maybe father of the arrested and father-in-law of the deceased has numbered days. He's currently 86.

Sumner Redstone and Danielle Darrieux?

I was reading that thread earlier. It's open to any and all politicians. I was just interested in people's top 5 predictions of the deaths of current or previous heads of state or government. Alright, apologies. I hope that didn't come off rude. I was confused. Think my five are already in my signature... Shimon Peres was a mistake to put on... Oh well.

Hasn't the Political Frailty forum already got this kinda shit covered...?

Seven years later there seems to be some movement in this matter: The Jerusalem Post quotes Al Jazeera that: If this turns out to be real, it seems Arafat was indeed poisoned. Edit to add: Al Jazeera claims Arafat's widow wants his body exhumed. Next question: by whom? Polonium isn't exctly stuff you buy by the pound at the chemist's. regards, Hein He's coming back from the grave, thanks to approval by the Palestinian president.

basically his entire claim to fame and his act (prior to the death list) was that he played charictors much older than his actual age, in his late fourties and early fifties he played an aged home gaurd corpral in "dads army" who was suposedly in his '70s, on the strength of this he had a No1 hit record titled "Grandad" but even prior to this his "comerdy" act was based on playing a doddery old man. . . . hence to all of those us now in their late 40s and 50s he has always been old in the sense of about to drop dead through old age. . . If it is your perception from early age that someone is old and has been for the best part of your life (50 years or so) they do seem a little imortal don't you think? Best regards Syd Thank you, Syd, for that illuminating piece of DeathList history. Now I have some semblance of a clue as to what's going on.

I am not British, and had no clue who Clive Dunn was before coming on to this forum, but can someone explain to me why he was selected for the DeathList all the way back in '87 and why he became such a cultish selection?

Hug an off-duty police officer from behind.

True that, I thought for sure he was one of my "mistaken picks" for this year's list, and was a waste of a slot. Guess fapping can only preserve one for so long... Maybe it's Zsa Zsa's secret aswell...

What about the two former Argentine dictators, Jorge Videla and Reynaldo Bignone, 86 and 84 respectively? They were both just charged for their complicity in kidnapping babies systematically, and have been given tough sentences. I can't imagine a South American prison would be too kind on an octogenarian. EDIT: I've just read another article that says the men are already serving life sentences for previous human rights offenses, so this isn't their first trip 'round the block. However, I still think they're two valid points to think about.

Anybody have any news on this guy? Is he in a full coma now? Is it Ariel Sharon nouveau? Deteriorating, improving? For someone who was on "death's door" last month, seems things have sure dried up.

It has been announced that Jesse Jackson Jr.'s condition is worse than expected. He has been on medical leave for "exhaustion" for three weeks, but now his camp is saying that things are more serious than previously thought. Could be that exhaustion is a cover for something, or it's just nothing.

Again! Wow, this is what, the fourth time she's been robbed recently? It just doesn't get any better for old Grace. That's what I was thinking she is being targeted which makes it all the more sickening . I didn't even know she has been robbed before either , still going strong aswell. Yep, was reading her Wikipedia page and she's apparently been wronged quite a few times. It also reveals her secret to longevity, which is good, English food, and never anything frozen. Guess I'll be dead at 35 the rate I'm going.

Erich Priebke, he's sooooooo old, and in keeping with the latest trend of arbitrary "drop-offs", I think he may be number eight.

I think you're very right with that class of '98 prediction. Jaruzelski has gotta go this summer, and Mickey Rooney cannot be far behind.

Are you Tempus in disguise? No, I wanted this to be a thread on its own, and somebody moved all the comments from the other one into this post. It made no sense. Watergate and Nixon's Enemies List are two different things. The people on that list had nothing to do with Watergate, for the most part. I don't understand the opposition to it being its own thread... I merged the threads because there was already a Nixon thread (Allbeit disguised as this Watergate thread) and didn't see the point of having another 2. However, I can delete and merge the posts if you want to start another Nixons enemies thread I'll merge them to your new thread. I didn't quite understand why a new thread was created so I merged them. Well, apologies for the confusion. I do think it merits its own thread, personally. I understand this thread is kind of a catch all for Nixon, but the enemies list would be better if it was at the top of a post of its own. That way, people could check up on the "progress" and what not. If you could do that, it would be great. Thanks and apologies again.
