Total bastard. Alright, I'll award points for Snuka but what shall I do about subsequent entries? It seems harsh to give them a load of points but it would be unfair to let them start with nothing. How about making them choose 26 instead of 25? If that's the case, I'll add Jerry Lewis to my squad No, I mean those who enter from now on. Everyone who has already entered is fine and will receive points for Snuka very soon.

Dan Haggerty couldn't bear life any longer as he reached his grizzly end a year ago on this day. -
It's started, although the deadline for entries is 21st January. Previous winning scores are as follows 2016 - 21 points 2015 - 15 points 2014 - 10 points 2012 - 10 points 2011 - 15 points Does that mean that it will possible to sub anyone who dies before January 21? If someone dies before the deadline then I will award points to the teams that had them. Any teams that are entered after such a death will still be required to pick 25 names and will be given a handful of points. You can probably tell that I'm making these rules up as I go along. To be honest, I don't expect anyone to die before the 21st.

I think I see what she's done. Are they the surviving unique picks of the top 40 from last year? Edit: They were all unique picks last year, but not necessarily from the top 40. In that case, I've no idea what's happened to the remainders of her team.

Go for it, if you wish.

And we're off. Top 50 are in the OP as intended. You've got a week to enter. Good luck.

Death Impends is now just one hit away from reclaiming the title. http://english.cri.cn/12394/2017/01/14/2743s949709.htm Two teams score joker points.

Far too tired to work out 41-50 right now, so I'll get to that in the morning and will update the original post then.

I echo the sentiments expressed by the previous posters. Morbidkid, you're obviously not mature enough to understand the consequences of what you're posting, but one day you'll look back on posts like these and you'll be horrified. You may have meant it as a joke but we don't find that stuff funny here, despite what The Lad Bible may think. I hope you're alright Creep. -

I'm really quite shocked at the lack of obits. He was a huge name in 20th/21st century moral philosophy and I would have thought he was guaranteed an obit from either The Guardian or the Financial Times. At least he's got 362 days of the year left to get a QO, so it's not another Huston Smith situation. However I'm now starting to doubt the rest of my theme team. IF your on twitter maybe take the liberty of politely querying the lack of obituary for him by tweeting the Telegraph Obituaries, Guardian Obituaries etc twitter accounts. You never know you may just nudge them into it! That's not my style, but I'll sign up and do it anyway. Edit: Ah, never mind. Huzzah!
-
Yes, folks. Anyone you know you've picked (or guess have been picked by others) please put on here so I know they've croaked while I'm putting on the teams/celebs in the next week or so... Derek Parfit Awaiting obit Edit: Times obit
