He stopped doing signing sessions a couple of years ago but he is still writing to the best of my knowledge. He has a short story collections coming out this Autumn. Was there a specific event he pulled out of? It was the Discworld Convention which he pulled out of, however his PA announced that Terry was working on a new Discworld novel. So I still think he's got at least a year or two.
