A very prominent Christian philosopher. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Kreeft

Peter Kreeft can fill the gap left by that bloke whose name I've already forgotten. Other four will remain.
-
Can I replace Clarke Carlisle with inspirational cancer patient Ray Kershaw? The other four can stay for now.

In other news, those who decided not to take a punt on Anna Holmlund can breathe a sigh of relief as she's now out of her coma and conscious again.

Renowned Mountaineers, Feeling Peaky?
The Dead Cow replied to Tempus Fugit's topic in DeathList Forum
Multi-award-winning Swiss mountaineer Ueli Steck has been killed whilst attempting to climb Mt. Everest, at the age of 40. -
There was a lack of quality in his omission from this year's DeathList. At least I had him on my theme team. Here's the Daily Mail with a QO.
-
American philosopher Hubert Dreyfus has died at the age of 87. Another big miss for my theme team.

Things aren't sounding too great for Mao Kobayashi. Her blog updates in recent weeks have mentioned symptoms of breathlessness and feverishness as well as receiving some blood test results which were worse than she had expected. In the translation of her most recent blog post, she mentions the following: "Five days have passed. I have been lying all day for the whole time It was everyday. With breathlessness and strange sweating and pain. Although I could walk normally ten days ago, It will be barely a matter of walking 10 steps" Unfortunately, I think I may have been optimistic to say that she'd die at around November/December time. I reckon she's on the clock. -
Not anymore. 3 points for DDT.

Rickles' death provides some food for thought for this week's Last Word. Darcus Howe and Ikutaro Kakehashi feel like certs. Artists/activists Gilbert Baker and Beau Duck both stand a chance. Too late for Clem Curtis? Too soon for Brian Matthew? Who knows, unless you are the producer of the show.
