On the morning commute I actually thought of creating the thread, too, as he is really going to let us know everything. Read an article in which he wonders if his kids will remember him "if he dies this year", I assume it's meant to be withing the next 12 months, not 2022. About the six months, I am a bit confused about the timeline. I thought he was initially meant to have six months to live, but then the treatment worked? I could imagine the current articles just run with with the drama. But in any case, he's on some kind of timer.

Football World Cup 2022. Predict the score.
gcreptile replied to Paul Bearer's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Guess Germany doesn't bother with the tournament after Sunday anymore. Truthfully, I think there are not many countries who care less about the tournament than we do. Switzerland - Cameroon: 1-0 Brazil - Serbia: 2-0 Uruguay - South Korea: 3-1 Portugal - Ghana: 2-0 -
I am replacing Bernadette Mayer with Sandra Weir.
-
Bernadette Meyer delivers a late Daily Double and probably secures 2nd place for me. It was all I could hope for, after stupidly not picking Tom Parker (and so giving away the "youngest hit" bonus"). I'm quite happy with the result though, actually, it's a personal best in all categories. I might have won in a different year, but obviously, Banana is in top form for this. I think the winning margin might end up to be the two names Spiriman and Tom Parker. I already expressed my surprise at Spiriman getting through early in the year, but well, you only succeed if you try, and I guess I didn't try.

Only the best and biggest names.... Nanny Faye Chrisley of "Chrisley knows best" has bladder cancer: https://www.realitytitbit.com/celebrity-gossip-and-news/fans-fear-for-nanny-faye-chrisley-with-cancer-after-son-todds-sentencing Do you think it's going to help her son and daughter-in-law get out of jail a little earlier?

Weirdly, Eric Levy has received a Guardian obit: https://www.theguardian.com/law/2022/nov/20/eric-levy-obituary Those Other Lives obituaries are a total lottery it seems. And when I picked West End actress/singer Tracy Kashi for the DDP, I must have picked a dud.

It's not mutually exclusive though, is it? Yes, the cancer was gone, but tumour-suppressive treatment often continues to keep it from coming back. And now it did.

Hmmmmmmmmmm...... Saturday Kitchen chef James Martin has recently got a CT scan, faces a "mystery operation", and had some drastic weight loss recently, officially because of a diet: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-11455109/James-Martin-sparks-concern-fans-shares-worrying-post-hospital.html

Scottish rugby star Scott Hastings expresses survivor's guilt over Clive Millar's death: https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-scotland-edinburgh-east-fife-63663006 He also reveals that he's had cancer (non-Hodgkin's lymphoma) for the past five years. At the beginning, it wasn't a problem, but "It was not until earlier this year, when his treatment had to be stepped up a gear and he needed chemotherapy, that he started to speak about it outwith his immediate family." Is the treatment losing efficacy?

There are already tons of names, it seems to me, but there's still more... Mick Channon, longtime striker for Southampton, and 21 goals for the English national team, has had bowel cancer: https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/20492453/former-england-striker-mick-channon-cancer-retirement/ He's had his lower bowels removed, and the cancer has apparently not been very aggressive, but it "chipped away at him". Is he threatworthy? Is he deathlist worthy? I decided against it, but just barely.

Let's have a look at the banned FFBI picks of 2022.... might be good timing. 13 names.... 6 deaths, and two of them without QO. Esther Waitherero died in July. Robyn Free didnt get a QO. Phil Rossall just turned 70, unbelievably. Esther Lee and Andrew McAslan had a health rebound.

I'm not watching but he's appearing at the Qatar Cup opening ceremony and seems to be lying down a lot. I hear the gloves are there because of a car accident a few days ago... too old to drive?

Kim Jong-Un shows his daughter Kim Chu-ae for the first time: https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-63685497 The usual health speculation ensues, does it mean he has health problems and wants to present a successor? He does look a little older than his 38 years though. The hair is turning grey.
