So yeah, Sunak for PM. BoJo would have lost the next GE anyway. He'll let Sunak take the fall and return as the saviour. -
BoJo's return reminds me of Napoleon returning from Elba.

Well, I admit, Steve Woodmore, former world's "fastest talking person", has lived longer than I thought. He was banned from Facebook (because his account was hacked) and now he has to go through chemotherapy "alone": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G5UvKgBPkqo He also now created his own forum... so in terms of form watching possibilities, he might set a few records: https://stevewoodmore.com/ Now, he has lymphoma, COPD, too much weight, diabetes, and a thousand other things, the lymphoma is only grade 1, as we can now read on his forum. Stage III, but only grade 1. Which I guess is why he is still alive.

Boris Johnson is a buffoon, but also an honest populist. I can deal with honest populists, they just want to be in power and/or be loved. The populists who have other motives, those really scare me. -
Lara Logan now even banned from Newsmax: https://edition.cnn.com/2022/10/20/media/newsmax-lara-logan-ban/index.html "In a bizarre interview, Logan told host Eric Bolling that “the open border is Satan’s way of taking control of the world,” and later added that the world’s elites “want us eating insects [and] cockroaches” while they “dine on the blood of children.” It's hard to tell now where political opinion ends and mental illness begins. As a memory refresher, she was sexually assaulted during the Arab Spring (in 2011) and that caused her hospitalisation (in 2015), internal bleeding and all.

Christoph Daum, high-profile german football coach, venerated in Turkey also, but never entered the Premier League, he has some kind of unspecified cancer: https://www.spiegel.de/sport/fussball/langjaehriger-bundesligatrainer-christoph-daum-macht-krebserkrankung-oeffentlich-a-41c912cf-87ab-482a-b0cd-69f0ea684361 Almost became German national coach until his cocaine use became public knowledge.

Truss failed too quickly for Boris. He's still too divisive and doesn't have an easy way to return. But he also knows that if he doesn't win now, he'll have to back whomever the party chooses.

CNN interview here, Tobias Ellwood, they are looking for a "consensus candidate". Sounds like Ben Wallace or Theresa May to me... ... maybe John Mayor, lol. -
At this rate, he will easily beat his mother's record of seeing prime ministers come and go.

I kind of like that now a majority of Tory party members voted for a prime minister who will probably top the list of least capable prime ministers of history. I feel a little sympathy for the others, but not much. -

I wonder, can King Charles just refuse to accept the next unelected Tory PM and trigger a general election? This is kind of one of these big, constitutional crises these above-the-fray heads of state, presidents or monarchs, are supposed to solve. -

OldCrem isn't far off I'd say? She's not aiming to be PM directly now, but neither does she want to go down with the ship. She sent an official email from her private account. Yeah, that's been an issue in politics lately, but also could be forgiven in the face of all that is there to do, as she recognizes herself? Also quite the convenient mistake to make... -

Eminent conductor Zubin Mehta cancels his christmas concerts because of poor health: https://slippedisc.com/2022/10/zubin-mehta-cancels-christmas-and-shares-a-revealing-dream/ He also shares a dream which kind of implies that he feels getting close to the "other side". -
Eric "Ferret" Baudoin has died: https://www.pcgamer.com/fallout-76-lead-designer-ferret-baudoin-has-died/ A senior game designer for Bethesda, especially for the unlucky Fallout 76. Was heavily involved in their next flagship game "Starfield" and previously worked on the Dragon Age games. In fact, he seems to have been a big name on quite a few games I've played. Makes me sad. An "unexpected death", so I assume a heart attack. Did aggressive fans kill him? Am I, and my sky-high expectations for Starfield also to blame?

Matthew Perry had a 2% chance to survive his burst colon at one point, according to his memoirs: https://www.the-sun.com/entertainment/6477310/friends-matthew-perry-nearly-died-colon-burst-addiction/ The reason was his opioid addiction. He was in a coma for 2 weeks and wore a colostomy bag for 9 months.

I find it very hard to judge him by his face. It's a mask. Maybe videos show more. Apparently, it's not all well in that new coalition, and maybe it doesnt even get started.
