Larry the Cat could be a nice no. 50. Also a name that could stay on the list for a decade, Kirk Douglas-style.

There is a truth in there. In many of the populist discussions that are caused by events such as this, it is useful to differentiate between the Turkish people who have lived here since the 60s as "Gastarbeiter", now in their 3rd or 4th generation, and the Arabs of more recent years, Syrians, Lebanese, Northern Africans - who would probably still be described as "Middle-eastern", interestingly.

Maybe not the right place, but where else? American travel show host Rick Steves has prostate cancer, prognosis seems good though: https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/tv-travel-guide-rick-steves-announces-prostate-cancer-rcna167691 Mainly posted because I do enjoy his videos and shows quite a bit.

Just saw that Qapik Attagutsiak is a no-obit in your scoreboard but she got this: https://uk.news.yahoo.com/remembering-103-old-nunavut-elder-195648893.html And this: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/obituaries/2023/12/21/qapik-attagutsiak-last-inuit-inuk-bones-munitions-war/ I do have a no-obit, but that's Amy Ettinger. I count a score of 51 for me, not sure where the discrepancies are, as I do have 13 hits (with Qapik Attagutsiak). Edit: Maybe the differences are the solo/duet bonus points? Roland Griffiths was a duet. Qapik Attagutsiak was a solo, Kirsty Smitten was a duet. And I have 6 whippersnappers instead of 4.

A more reasonable suggestion than Harris herself, might be her father, leftist economist Donald Harris: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donald_J._Harris Stanford professor on his own, refusing to appear in the media now, 85 years old.

Currently live: the first gameplay reveal for Civilization VII. Sid Meier is now 70 years old, so quite old for a game developer. His face is coloured quite sickly.

Yeah, I did kind of take the innuendo of some german articles there, like this one: https://rp-online.de/panorama/leute/loubo-darf-leben-alain-delons-hund-wird-doch-nicht-eingeschlaefert_aid-118053419 They do NOT mention his daughter Anouschka, so it looks like Brigitte Bardot fights against Alain Delon or something. The Guardian article is much more detailed.

A somewhat tangential thought, but, to be honest, this thread is as good as any other, I wonder if you can make somebody believe in both flat earth and hollow earth theory.
