Spanish playwright and Franco critic Alfonso Sastre, a DDP pick, died two weeks ago, but no english language obit yet. I wouldn't rule it out, though, maybe from that socialist one. https://www.publico.pt/2021/09/18/culturaipsilon/noticia/morreu-escritor-dramaturgo-argumentista-espanhol-alfonso-sastre-1977914 -

Sumiko Sakamoto, Japanese actress and a DDP pick for Easy Peasy Japaneasy, already died back in January, but there is no english obit: https://kumanichi.com/articles/110709 -
Could the last original SAS trooper, Mike Sadler (a DDP pick) be dead? This reddit thread seems to think he passed away, but could just be ignorance:

"Shoot Out the Lights" was playing in the background...

She would have been in my orbit for the next year. Her final blog post - already a couple of months old - was very foreshadowing. We are kind of running out of those "well-established" cancer campaigners though, aren't we?

Ah, that's a good thought.

Thanks, however, she's probably not dead yet. That first tweet was too soon. And mainstream press has not followed up: https://mobile.twitter.com/Krista_BH/status/1444992972928475146

Nadia Chaudhri has died according to this one-hour old tweet: https://mobile.twitter.com/KarenCo36324098/status/1444889332691603458 A shame, she seemed to be a lovely person.

Or as he was called here, "SS-Siggi". (No joke, nobody here knows him by his real name).

Well, I don't know the year, but most likely on a Thursday afternoon. -

Elizabeth Warren's brother John Herring dead of cancer: https://news.yahoo.com/elizabeth-warrens-brother-john-dies-003501991.html Another brother died of Covid last year. One brother left. She's the youngest one. -
Still looking at dat ass... We've kind of known that he's a wasted pick, and we've known it each time he was picked in the past years. But he's going to stay on the list until the end, thanks to Ed Asner. The committee does not want to miss the next big name from the Mary Tyler Moore orbit, and Ed Asner shows how quickly things can deteriorate.

Obit watch: He got a Washington Post obit, but not the New York Times. He got an Associated Press obit that the Daily Mail didn't copy/paste. And he didn't get a yahoo obit. So now we know, this is where to draw the line.

Seemed to be a good guy, if his last years on social media show the real guy. At least, he had a few more good years since his diagnosis, and actually a bit of a second career.

Only 34 years of age difference between father and son? What a break of family tradition. -

Carlos Bilardo still doesn't know about Maradona's death - this article however, tells us that Bilardo is suffering from Hakim-Adams syndrome, i.e. pressure on the brain causing occasional, but reversible, dementia. While that doesn't sound terminal, he has consistenly been in poor health apparently: https://www.liberoquotidiano.it/news/sport/28854622/carlos-bilardo-dramma-mister-maradona-morto-malattia-come-campa-oggi-ex-ct-argentina.html
