She's still improving - in a Hindu/reincarnation kind of way.

So the news say that Project Artemis aims to send Americans to the moon, but not before 2024. There's currently a bidding war for the private contract between Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk, with the latter apparently winning. I wonder if any current moon astronauts are going to last that long.

Thanks, but he was not picked.

Dagny Carlsson recently said she wants to move around but has no energy: https://www.aftonbladet.se/nojesbladet/a/75JAEo/dagny-carlssons-halsning-till-svenska-folket-efter-tuffa-tiden She has stopped blogging herself, and someone does it for her - ever since she was hospitalised earlier this year.

Least notable celebrity on the DDP this year, in my opinion, non-league Football player Spencer McCall died 2 weeks ago: https://www.lfe.org.uk/news/rest-in-peace-spencer-mccall/ Would be a unique hit for This Mortal Coil, but an obit seems unlikely.

The Banana has been peeled at 83: https://news.pindula.co.zw/2021/07/29/former-first-lady-janet-banana-dies-aged-83/ I recall she had a spell of ill health not too long ago, 2018/19.

Rightwing podcaster/blogger Steven Crowder suffered a lung collapse: https://www.insider.com/steven-crowder-health-illness-hospitalized-lung-collapse-2021-7 Actually a DDP DbN pick. And it's not that implausible as he also had heart problems last year and suffers from a connective tissue issue.

I see, the Daily Mail has picked up on the "curse": https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-9828505/Home-Away-curse-takes-star-Dieter-Brummer-dies.html And I think I have to add some names the list, like Annalise Braakensiek.

No, not dead, but here's a Shakti Mishra update - I'm trying to give the commentator's illusion that there is a lot going on: https://ommcomnews.com/odisha-news/odia-singer-shakti-mishra-seeks-financial-support-for-liver-transplant He's still in critical condition with three blockages in his heart and the need for an immediate liver transplant. Now he and his family call for financial support. Still a reasonable hit for the final days of the month - but then, someone who's been in critical condition for a whole month might easily last for a few more days.

Snoop Dogg's mom Beverly Tate, hospitalized since May, now opened her eyes and "still fighting". Must be something serious and it's probably over soon: https://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/music/news/snoop-dogg-mother-hospital-b1890830.html (another regret from my Cup list?) -

My unique DDP pick Phil Read, who made news with his COPD diagnosis last year and the "I'm preparing my funeral" story last month, now back in hospital with prostate cancer: https://www.visordown.com/news/general/gp-legend-phil-read-announces-he-back-hospital-after-cancer-diagnosis

I ..think... your best bet is Sasha Johnson now. Your journalist apparently was a "I'm too sick for prison" thing and Bob Dole seems to be okay for a few more weeks, but can't be ruled out. Sasha Johnson would also make you win on age grounds if I get another hit. I haven't heard anything on her lately, and neither seems the whole internet. The last thing I heard was a successful second operation in June. But that didnt really got her out of hospital, it seems.
