If I may add to this, the host of the Inverse gets the 50 eligible names from the DDP host/committee. It happens once all teams are entered into the database and the access file spits out a counting of all the names, which is usually around January 10th-15th.

Congrats, WeeJum! I'm glad, Italy won. For me, they had it from the beginning. England still did very well, very clever coaching by Southgate. Reminds me of the Germany of 1986/1990. Very uninspired and boring, but efficient. Results could be even better in 1/3 years. I didn't watch the game vs Ukraine though. I believe it gave them the momentum to defeat Denmark. Otherwise there would have been an Italy - Denmark final.

Quite possibly my favourite theme team this year.

He'll soon know if it kills him or not: https://metro.co.uk/2021/07/11/mark-hoppus-to-find-out-life-expectancy-amid-cancer-fight-14906862/ He might need a bone marrow transplant. Does he have bone cancer? I think maybe it's lymphoma.

So I guess I have to go for a 5+ goal score that neither WeeJum nor Mr. Spud have picked.

Dilip Kumar's death means that my G.I. generation has died off. Might be a first in this game, but only by hair's breadth. Dead Cow, for example, only has Clarissa Eden left.

Quim Reaper got it. It would have been rather comically if we had completely missed such a likely, totally ordinary result.
