With the Alan Burgess obit mentioned above, January 2021 is the new record month of DDP history with 38 hits. We've kept up with the average of one-hit-per-day from the beginning up until April 12th. As a comparison though, last year we kept the average up until April 30th. Both this year and last year, we've had a slow May, with 15 hits both in 2019 and 2020. Surprisingly similar results, actually.

Gary Corbett, former guitarist for KISS, has aggressive, advanced lung cancer: https://www.blabbermouth.net/news/former-kiss-touring-keyboardist-gary-corbett-is-battling-cancer/ Only a minor name though, and not officially part of the band.

More drol fodder: Khaleda Zia, former female PM of Bangladesh has survived COVID, but is still extremely ill, with heart, kidney and liver problems and .... arthritis. http://www.uniindia.com/~/bangladesh-ex-pm-khaleda-zia-extremely-ill-needs-better-treatment-mirza-fakhrul/World/news/2424265.html However, Bangladesh is one of those countries where every former PM seems to be in prison, and she has been, too. So maybe it's a little exaggerated.

Are we kind of getting ready to shut down this thread? Seems like a lot of these old names are going lately.

The Congressional report is supposed to come out before June 25th, so within the next week. Still, more stuff gets leaked. “Clearly, something’s going on that we can’t handle,” Tim Burchett, a Republican congressman from Tennessee, told TMZ. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2021/jun/17/ufos-us-report-national-security-concerns -

That's more money than exists on Earth! Edit: Maybe it's possible to ask for a partial, but steady payout. And then issue loans to other people backed up by that win.

We caught the tail end of that India wave - just as they were getting it back under control. If I had to guess, Azam Khan survives, too. And Buddhadeb Bhattacharya was a bad pick from the beginning, I should have gone with my first sub, Nacho Laun instead. Stan Swamy was a latter half of the month hit anyway - well, let's see. But I think the ventilator shortages and so on are over.

Lisa Banes actually ties with Markis Kido, Badminton gold medal winner in 2008. But dead Olympians, they are inflationary.. Edit: It's also the current top name on Spade's twitter link. I have to admit, I used a facebook group for oldest olympians to choose my people. They have nice photos. I missed at least one pancreatic cancer person though.
