"Sporklin", co-creator of crypto-currency dogecoin has died of cancer: https://www.newsbreak.com/news/2216760571005/dogecoin-core-developer-sporklin-a-true-shibe-dies-due-to-cancer Took me a while to determine it's not a dog. She had recently left the company because of different views about what the currency should be.

"Up and Coming" rapper Cam Coldheart now cold all over at 33: https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/14767773/cam-coldheart-dead-33-rapper-up-and-coming/ He had 100.000 followers on Instagram after some beef with Da Baby.

Did they somewhat synchronize the speed with the Stevie Wonder song? Feels a bit cheap, to me. Chadwick Boseman as a final name was somewhat inevitable, I guess. I feel a little sad that Olivia De Havilland is just there...? Too many huge names, I guess. But then, they didn't cover 12 months but more like 16, even included Helen McCrory.

This time, there's a whole lot of smoke above the possible fire.

No, he didn't really get even near a QO: https://deaths.dompost.co.nz/obituaries/dominion-post-nz/obituary.aspx?n=richard-mills&pid=196988050&referrer=3319&__cf_chl_captcha_tk__=2b0c0bc7721c41ddd25f9545e42c719760c0c24b-1619267474-0-AUl1DPRWp0vwP7NC_jA_7rZyi8BcTJUCYa4vj4B-zfx63qw8khrN5gEp15fAJXwW33SF9xtMCSfu4AHhUHy_LTLNW5zwlnpTGcaTMPO1bEl9SZX2HgmxaJ2-JYxtDeMH6Zw2FG4S6dSnHAkEe4MBnsFaaTMKGS3ykYC-3cHQZjs12O201Sib6bElub0RCPnsiWqYOcAdPvxAQyoEnpmSgKK_sdzMfWRiBpPg64sdybAV2L_7rQGq41hciBRrqvXEytB2teKeI8sR99puEMgCE9UHnAhF2-9hkNRHCGZ3Lc6eZypDbSgzwQp8Wzn2QtR89IH78ehkHUB8IC0_1Z_W0zZ8xtJXPL1P2f0aaO3oPpCD_Gu2kr132BVh4TF-dLK2rjAW0_5V5cBRS_UGr_7FZ3sywC66q4KojlcmHkDSoM2_8dxhykZXXtqZFNzpgUEe-RVxvHz2JuzbG-iJ2d0c0LL7xIHnhzlG40kdnGJoiDWEOHHBeAFZhGpobJW4gEN0bLBy2fFz09lE85vlDPBEbPeu_umKY1DPIoo16zil7I2hgDX8a1sUAL1cCJPDMnKMFMdB6LB6J0xMg76A1Rh-NAWzluFb3O4PjzMssPjLEytYJyHDbd-9wmPgPZIkZEV61PNXgI697GttRU--zI6hMc1gWSyOL8R1OEd4hhcnCwuARUDPXzr9juL_o6Q7PzRAOVAhU8pesf-IdO8HTj1rL79luMYGNMvPz-Sux5ELvRjpPNjCfBc5fF72gX91vv_ZDZEqWj4_qDjzJcoyy_cmpjM Apologies for the long link, it's behind some bot check. Damn, one of the few living people on my list I gave a 100% probability of dying in the next year was cancer mum Megan Scotcher: https://www.derbytelegraph.co.uk/news/local-news/young-mum-two-small-kids-4386355 But then, thin month, she has been charged with fraud for receiving charitable donations, meaning, she probably faked her terminal cancer: https://www.ripleyandheanornews.co.uk/news/crime/derbyshire-woman-charged-with-fraud-offence-3198127 Now, while I need to update the probabilities of my longlist eventually, right now, I only have three people with that 100% left. Bob Dole, Kat Bjelland, and another cancer mum, Lauren Coyle, from Australia, who might actually be dead already.

So .. What Do You Watch On TV?
gcreptile replied to Banshees Scream's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
So I tried some watching in preparation for the Oscars.... The Trial of the Chicago 7 - okay movie, nice performances. I'm a little tired of court movies though, and then, it's written by Aaron Sorkin, so it ends with an idealistic speech that only fits in a fantasy world. Ma Rainey's Black Bottom - passes the time quickly, but also doesn't make a big impression. It's the adaptation of a play, and it feels like a stage production, especially the end, that feels a little off in a movie. Mank - Okay, I was VERY tired yesterday, but I tried, and yet, had to turn off eventually. I mean, the movie is not a mess. The acting is good, the music (Trent Reznor) is nicely done. And yet, it's like watching paint dry. Three movies based on real events. They are all interesting for the times they portray, but not really for the stories they decide to tell. One giant meh. I'm looking forward to see The Father, Nomadland and Soul though. -
Italian "Schlager" singer Milva has died after a long illness at 81: https://www.repubblica.it/spettacoli/people/2021/04/24/news/e_morta_milva-297804515/ There exists a photo of me in front of a giant poster of her. It was the 90s, and I was 12 or something. Apparently, in later years she turned to socialist activism and more political songs.

We've had hits.... Many had Prince Philip, and chilean way even gets joker points for him. Baby Blue had this impressive double unique with DMX and Bernie Madoff. There was also Sunday Burquest, picked by 4 people, but only msc actually climbed in the rankings because of that. It was more of a hit that bunched people closer together. Plus, Walter Mondale was picked by two teams. Now, for some reason, I thought there was another hit? Maybe not.. those five it is. Rank Team Score 1 Cpt. Hitler said that he needed a war rather sooner than later, i.e. before he got too old to lead. Maybe Putin is having similar thoughts, as he prepares war with the Ukraine, withdraws Russia from the ISS, gets more and more shameless with espionage and grows more and more prickly. In my opinion, he's gone off the rails. Maybe he really is ill, I had suspected Parkinson's on the forum before.

Consciously, I heard of him the first time in my english school book, 5th grade or something, as "the first notable African-American candidate for president".

Ed Woodward, ManU boss, is resigning. The president of Juventus, too....oops...

This whole thing reminds me of The Shock Doctrine, the book by Naomi Klein, that argued that capitalists like to use disasters to overwhelm the population and enact ultra-capitalist policies (i.e. school privatization in Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina). Similarly, the Super League became official now because the financial backers (JP Morgan, for example), figured that the fandom is too occupied with other stuff during this epidemic, and that they wouldn't resist right now, because they can't even attend the games. Only, they probably have underestimated how dear the sport is to the people.
