As I am checking on my personal survivors and find some news on Yoo Sang-Chul and the like... Sophie Sabbage had her 5th round of radiotherapy: https://www.cancerwhispering.com/blog/more-myself-by-being-less-myself Her situation is "stable" with four brain tumours. Well, she's had 60-70 brain tumours so far (!!!!). It impairs her brain functions, but far less than the doctors thought it would. I think it's acutally quite incredible.

Jimmy Carter Mikhail Gorbachev Nick Hitchon Lars Hogh Andrew McDonald Ernie Moss Bradley Murdoch Carel Du Plessis Peter Tobin Jacci Woodcock The House of Extravaganza: Initial success 8/20, now 13/20 Don Asmussen Chris Baggolley Jana Bennett Miroslava Duma Scott Dureau Yasuhiko Funago Litsa Menounos Belinda Sykes Rachel Zoll Alright..... I'm still a little mystified at my 2019 performance. What did I do wrong? On the other hand, I've already lost 7 names of the 2020 picks, which shows that the B- and C-team were just slightly off with their timing, but still full of potential. Those old teams, well, some names will stay on forever, but apart from those, they pass away at a rate of about 4 names per year.

I saw that, but then in the next paragraph, there is a different statement. Can't quite make that out of what Google translate gives me.

Yoo Sang-Chul was supposedly in critical condition, being blind, and the cancer had spread to his brain. But his manager said nothing is true: https://www.chosun.com/national/national_general/2021/03/29/ZS6SS7MDTFBNVG22HUYG6E7324/ But he has had a bad eye for many years which had turned into blindness during treatment.

A foreign source says that conservative social scientist Judith Reisman has died: https://www.tvlibertes.com/actus/judith-reisman-figure-de-la-lutte-contre-les-pedocriminels-sest-eteinte-a-lage-de-84-ans Among her classics are: "Today's youth groups for gay kids are like the Hitler youth", gay liberation created the Nazis, and porn viewers have their minds brainwashed, do not have any more "free speech", and their opinions are no longer protected by the constitutional right to free speech.

Bobby Fulton has had surgery to open up his throat to consume solid foods again: https://411mania.com/wrestling/health-update-on-bobby-fulton-following-battle-with-cancer/ Apparently, he posts good news, and yet, it sounds as if the cancer is progressing steadily.

Damn, now I need another name for my Cup team.
-
The competition has no favourite yet, in my opinion. Tom Parker is like Marieke Vervoort and Leah Bracknell, picked as a joker by lots of teams, and his survival or death would totally change the race. I can't believe I have two non-obits which kill my advantage with a joker who is definitely on borrowed time. Plus, many teams had interesting side hits, Julie Strain and the like. There are still 20-30 teams with plausible ways to victory. Including HDS, or Expiry Date, Book, etc etc ... And so far, we haven't had too many picks who are already a "bad" pick, Tracey Emin, now, maybe Derek Draper, who could be a new Michael Schumacher.

Can't we discuss him in the Meghan Markle thread?
-
Now, the only question on my mind is, will Meghan be at the funeral?
-
So soon... Well, you keep waiting for it, and are still surprised when it happens.
-
Yes, a little surprising there's no BBC local obit for Howarth. Still, there should be a Times obit within a month or so?

Ableist language: https://www.bbc.com/worklife/article/20210330-the-harmful-ableist-language-you-unknowingly-use Examples: "Turning a blind eye", calling a person "crazy", or someone "psychopathic". Also the words "Dumb" and "lame". Now, okay, I get some of it, it's like saying "gay" when you mean "bad". But somehow, I still feel that this is a bit too much. The examples are too broad. Eventually, we'll all be reduced to speaking like robots. -
Home and Away director John Clabburn killed in a freak garden accident: https://www.fm104.ie/news/buzz/home-and-away-director-john-clabburn-has-died-following-a-freak-gardening-accident/ He cut himself off a tree with a saw and apparently injured his hand (cut it off?). He lost so much blood that he died from a cardiac arrest. I told you, this show is a curse. Edit: This one, of course, also wit QO: https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/14584305/home-and-away-director-john-clabburn-hedge-trimmer-sydney/

I already see three suitable UK media outfits giving him coverage right now, The Sun, The Independent and Yahoo. So the answer is 100% yes.

Alright, let's have a bit of an update... I actually forgot about Bibian Mentel, so.. thanks! She was picked by only a few, but yielded quite a few points. Paul Cosford and Sarah Hughes are also hits, the latter is a unique hit for me. Plus Alcee Hastings, picked here and there. Rodion Rosca was a bit of a "Guardian or bust" gamble. It's pretty certain that it didn't work, for Banana and me. It's my third non-obit - quite possibly a record! Dramatic changes are missing though. Wormfarmer rises two places because of Bibian Mentel. Rank Team Score 1 Cpt. Next prominent church critic, Hans Küng, dead at 93: https://www.spiegel.de/panorama/hans-kueng-theologe-im-alter-von-93-jahren-gestorben-a-58a63785-ba1f-44f0-a78b-7185dbd66171 While Uta Ranke-Heinemann liked to point out the sexual hypocrisy of the church, Hans Küng liked to criticise other ethical problems, including, gasp!, the papal infallibility. Maybe a bit of a miss for us. And a DDP pick. Edit:QO: https://uk.news.yahoo.com/hans-kueng-dissident-catholic-theologian-161148657.html
