Sarah Hughes QO: https://www.theguardian.com/media/2021/apr/06/brilliant-and-versatile-observer-and-guardian-journalist-sarah-hughes-dies-at-48 Excellent unique hit for me in the DDP, maybe my team has some life left after all. That said, I really liked and actively followed her Game Of Thrones coverage. Very sad.

Jack Veneno QO (?): https://dominicantoday.com/dr/people/2021/04/06/dominican-wrestling-champ-ends-his-final-bout/ Perhaps and I move in lockstep.

Yeah, I don't know why I forgot about her. I looked her up before, saw the hospice news, but that was on the 1st of March. That was too early for my short-term memory it seems.
-
Shocking, she seemed fine, at least on twitter, but yeah, there was a reason I picked her in the DDP. An ominous article in November, a hospitalisation in February. She seemed to have recovered though.

Well, he gave a timeline himself that put him close to reaching 2022, so I didn't dare to pick him in my main team. Ah well, I think I'm back to my previous years of bungling up main team/B-team picks.
-
Yes, but I did look through his tweets to see if it was reliable: Look at the later one.

Antonio Inoki now also has caught the Coronavirus.

Bernard Tapie has been attacked by burglars at home. He's okay, and also determined to stand trial later this year: https://www.france24.com/en/europe/20210404-french-tycoon-bernard-tapie-attacked-in-violent-burglary-near-paris

Doddie Weir had a nasty fall last week, but is recovering. https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/news/scottish-news/6869330/doddie-weir-scotland-rugby-fall-home-mnd-stitches/ He says he has a weak left leg. Well, I guess it's good he can still walk. But maybe not for much longer.

David Gulpilil: 13th of May

Hmm, why didn't I, nor anyone else apparently?, see this 3-week-old article before? https://www.smh.com.au/culture/movies/i-m-just-trying-to-stay-alive-as-the-end-approaches-david-gulpilil-is-feted-one-more-time-20210310-p579gx.html Chemo stopped working, and they had to stop the immunotherapy. Now, where' s that emoji?

So Agnaldo Timoteo has died and needs an english obit. He's been picked 7 times, but funnily, is only relevant in Cpt. Chorizo's match.
-
Dead? https://g1.globo.com/rj/rio-de-janeiro/noticia/2021/04/03/agnaldo-timoteo-morre-no-rio.ghtml (me lying lazily in bed without translation) Edit: Oh, Agnaldo Timoteo.

I didn't realize that former chairman of Volkswagen, the predecessor of Ferdinand Piech, Carl Hahn is still alive at 94: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carl_Hahn As the mastermind behind the VW Golf he is likely obitable. (However, the latest picture showed him still standing upright.)

Shaukat Ali is a first miss for all of us: https://images.dawn.com/news/1186906/folksinger-shaukat-ali-passes-away-in-lahore He was seriously ill on the 30th already. I didn't think it was credible enough though.

To all the people picking Mila Ximenez, Antonio Inoki and Yu Mo-Lin, good luck to you!
-
Good one, but I'd say the word "leading brain surgeon" qualifies him. If he were "just some doctor" he would not (But of course, in my heart, every doctor is great).
-
Oh, I think this will be quite the spectacular round. @Perhaps I think your team is quite good. Gene Champagne was my first sub sub (i.e. addition to the subs bench after I lost those two picks mentioned above). Angelicoussis was also a pick I had on my mind. Good luck to all! @BabyBlue I hope for better luck for you next time! A shame your joker wasn't dying as quickly as many of us, me included, thought.
