Indeed, a pretty big name. He had health issues in the past, documented on here, too. Someone I would like to have picked somewhere. -
It's a punt! Kind of a "why the hell not?" decision.

I have updated for the various recent hits. Tom's Chainsaw Massacre has had an incredible run these past days and finds themselves at 6th place now. Sutcliffe and Supernaw today, Trebek two days ago, as a joker, and Nobby Stiles just two weeks ago. Certainly, player of the month of November, with possibly the best november ever.

I do have to use the reverse image search more, though at least, reposting this picture is Leon Spinks' most recent twitter activity.

However, there is also this, from two weeks ago:

Okay, what are the news with him... In July, he celebrated with his brother, as their birthdays are close: https://bigfightweekend.com/news/former-champ-spinks-brothers-celebrating-birthdays-together/ He was indeed near death in January, but then made a "strong recovery" in March.

I take pride in my two ADDITIONAL non-obits George Hallett and Mark Naley. Well, actually I don't. I think my team is pretty much fucked. Fine Kula and Bob Varsha are in recovery, too....

I like to count Vasily Kulkov with half a point. Cancer/COVID complications.

"Walking on thin ice" was recorded just prior to John Lennon's death. Somewhere I read that, upon finishing the record, John exclaimed "We've just recorded your first number one!" He was correct in that it made the number one in the US dance charts or something like that. Undoubtedly also profiting from John Lennon's passing.

Oh wow, Astronaut for the win for me. Edit: On a quick glance, it seems that my unique Astronaut pick Marcos Pontes has mostly defeated his COVID infection. 2nd edit: No wait, he didn't have COVID. Google translate fooled me, he merely participated in a COVID-related symposium. But I did pick him because he's from Brazil and there is a lot of COVID.

Ah, my prediction of 16 deaths was defeated by the COVID monster. But now for the real big one.... Bouteflika

RIP(per) The List gets a COVID hit. Not the wrong one either. Congratulations committee, some good luck after the misses.

Went through the "Deathless Days" thread. Last post was Joey's one about Octobre 10th. Now it has added Dyan Birch, listed here as part of the band Arrival.

Some Yoko tracks I really like, most of all, these three:

According to the article, she's had an unspecified illness since 2017. The wheelchair pictures... what could it be?

Interesting article on synth music pioneer Wendy Carlos, mentioned twice on these forums so far: https://www.theguardian.com/music/2020/nov/11/she-made-music-jump-into-3d-wendy-carlos-the-reclusive-synth-genius Now 80 years old, she spent the last 11 years in hiding, only now came a statement regarding a new biography on her life. Also notable as an early visible trans person, she is mainly known for her Moog-ification of Bach on the "Switched-On-Bach" album, and of course, her electronic versions of classical music that was the soundtrack of "Clockwork Orange". Plus, the "Tron" soundtrack.

Boooo!! But no, it gave me the excuse to go with the person I wanted to pick on instinct anyway, Johnny Depp.
