Beteigeuze is still getting dimmer, by the way. The apparent magnitude is now below 1,6 (yes, I am checking the betelbot daily!): Now, they are expecting a minimum later this month - but what if it doesn't happen? The star is currently dimmer than at anytime in the past 125 years.

Deathlist Football Prediction League 2019/2020
gcreptile replied to Deathray's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Well.... Mourinho's Tottenham is going to catch up and Chelsea is going to miss the CL slots. But yeah, I expected an even worse place than fifth. But I didn't expect ManU and Arsenal to be so shitty. -
So .. What Do You Watch On TV?
gcreptile replied to Banshees Scream's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
So I finished Bojack Horseman, the final episodes just came out... It was pretty good, though sometimes the nihilism is getting you down. That final batch of episodes was very funny, occasionally quite innovative (not often for a sixth season!), and in the end, an okay (sufficiently well done) ending. Can recommend. Also we watched JoJo Rabbit... it was better than I thought (it was not exactly my first choice), but then not quite good enough for all those Oscars? Enjoyable though, and I simply like Scarlett Johannson and Sam Rockwell. What else lately.... Uncut gems just yesterday... takes some focus to get into, to soak it all up. Worth it though, but don't watch it after a stressful day... Still, I thought Adam Sandler is not quite charismatic enough to pull it off perfectly, but,... almost. They also have all the Studio Ghibli movies now on Netflix (most already, some still about to come). They got them all except for Grave of the Fireflies. That's going to be a good watch. -
Kind of glad to have a breather after this turbulent January. I am, once again going through my annual burn-out / recovery period post-change of year. But then again, I am hoping to be fully recharged at the end of February to submit my team. Also, I kind of think that we are going to have a week of relative silence now, only to be back in a storm after that.

What Are You Listening To Right Now?

Yo yo, listening to my buddy Elon's new track: -
Ah... they did "alright"...hehe, thats it.

You will know this better than anyone. Did we ever have 4 Drop 40 hits in January before? If not, the above might be true, though in terms of sheer numbers of hits (and submitted teams) we've seen bigger Januaries.

Higgins Clark gets the full BBC treatment, but I have to run now, before updating: https://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-51339084 That does put us at 29 deaths in January. But could there be at least two QOs still waiting for us? I would guess that Louis Nirenberg is going to get a backlog QO from the Telegraph. Maybe Jörn Donner, too?

By the way, everybody knows about his/her instagram page? The latest post shows the slime coming out of his lungs: https://www.instagram.com/p/B78xOHshF2h/?igshid=111duih2tvq19

My death toll prediction is a little higher than the consensus of our site, but it's still a very negligible number. For comparison, flu deaths in 2019 are estimated to be around 650.000: https://www.globalresearch.ca/flu-bigger-concern-wuhan-virus-grabs-headlines/5701932 So yeah, even six-figure numbers and the low 7-figure numbers are not that dramatic, on a global scale. People die.

Told you, Rad ;). Congratulations!

I kind of want to have lived in three centuries, i.e. from 1982-2100 at least (yes, not 2101 but 2100, looks good enough).

This year, the race is more like a 110m hurdles competition with everyone repeatedly stumbling with every jump, yet the finish line comes slowly closer.

It has infected more people than SARS now, but the deathrate is only 2% as compared to the 10% of SARS.

Oh, are you the one who submitted a team to the Death By Numbers deadpool under the name of Kenny?

American Football Players
gcreptile replied to harrymcnallysblueandwhitearmy's topic in DeathList Forum
I kind of prefer it that way, i.e. not mentioning "officially" how a member of the brand-new committee leads after a month. That said, I would have enjoyed a "player of the month" nod. But then, let's see what happens if we keep up those daily shocks to the scoreboard. David Hagen please? -
2018... the BBC locals were already back in 2019.

A couple 10000s, like the annual flu attacks.

Again, thanks! It would never have occurred to me to check for Louis Nirenberg, for example. Maybe we can still hit that 1-hit-per-day quota in January.
