Clive James is reading himself in this unexpected Guardian article: https://www.theguardian.com/books/2019/oct/05/clive-james-books-overrated-all-magic-realism No health news at all. So I guess the window of scoring for him in 2019 is closed.

There was an interview with him, it's going to be aired tonight: https://www.ctvnews.ca/canada/alex-trebek-opens-up-to-lisa-laflamme-about-his-cancer-treatment-1.4625438 He's wearing a wig now (probably did so before already).

Elton is another one with a "secret prostate cancer battle", was at one point 24 hours away from death - and explains some of his health problems in 2017 and 2018: https://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrity-news/elton-johns-secret-cancer-battle-20464406

Hmm, well, what came first? Did the pneumonia kill her because her lungs were already heavily damaged by intensive drug use? Or did she do drugs while being sick with pneumonia and died of a somewhat accidental overdose? I guess the article implies the latter.

Hmm, that's the end of his campaign...a 78-year old man with heart problems. Sometimes it's as simple as this.

I guess, he would call it a little bump'n'grind.

So was it Paul who picked Mr. Wilbur in 2017 and scored a unique hit with him? https://www.theguardian.com/books/2017/oct/17/richard-wilbur-obituary

Aahh... so many great names will stay unused.
-
That carries him into next month. He's not going to evade his fate for long... but it's time for someone else to become that 10th death.

I regarded Samu as a 50:50 pick. Those only work half of the time. There were worse picks, obviously also better ones. The 5-year survival for stage iv liver cancer is worse than the one-year survival. One has to keep an eye on him. (That must be a record of how many platitudes one can put into one post)

He has a giant face tattoo and says he's the biggest thing in music now: https://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrity-news/aaron-carter-shows-huge-face-20326471

I was watching that movie "The Queen" last week and was reminded that "Queen Mum" aka Sylvia Syms OBE is still alive. She was mentioned here many years ago and spoke last year of a couple of health problems. Her public appearances since then have notably declined: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-6359803/My-life-lens-Actress-Sylvia-Syms-84-shares-stories-favourite-snaps.html

Thank you :). I was trying to make a Starship Troopers reference.

Well, ABC is not a QO. Quoting yourself: "Any name scored by the Derby or AO Deadpools will be scored, or if they get a QO in the Associated Press. Also accepted this year are NY Times, LA Times, USA Today or CNN."

Well, I guess I risk it... Octobreeee Ginger Baker (4) Dennis Hutchings Samantha Last (beauty blogger) Karel Gott Jock Ross (Australian motorcycle gang founder)

Hmm, I would like to know more.

That was a long and unclear story with him. It was hard to get clear facts. And then at some point, I stopped caring.
