Angela Merkel! David Copperfield! Emma Stone! Your mum! Dora the Explorer! Seven of Nine (the character, not the actress) The rule of law! My dignity! The plant in my bedroom! (seriously, so many moves and years - and still alive!)

So Anne Hamilton-Byrne keeps me away from two clean sheets.

Galaxy Segue doesn't sound too bad.. -
Ugh... that sounds awful. (he was being mobbed at acting school)

I don't know... these investments probably didn't pay off. In the long run. It's true, he became more serious about 2 years after he appeared first, but there was always something off, like when he let himself get adopted by that old millionaire woman. He also never gave up show business. Some people just can't let go of it, so they appear in these cheap reality shows.

Daniel Küblböck, once placed 3rd in Germany's version of "American Idol" and then a very out-there media star, think D-list appearances here and there, gone missing on a cruise ship, possibly jumped overboard? https://www.n-tv.de/leute/Daniel-Kueblboeck-auf-Kreuzfahrt-vermisst-article20614731.html (german link) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daniel_Küblböck Eternal internet fame because he had the main role in a frequent entry on any "worst movie ever" list: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0421051/

Difficult... "Not the all-clear" - chemo isn't working perfectly => alternative treatment. Well, Leah lived with that quite a long time, though we cannot be sure what she did or didn't do.

It's like it used to be in the 60s and 70s. Some politicians are paid by the Russians, and some, like Saakashvili, are paid by the Americans. Only difference is that these games now mostly take place within the borders of the Soviet Union. ... although maybe Russia is having a bit of a counter-offensive with its support of European populist parties, and maybe even of the American president himself.

Hmm... always wondered when something like this would happen: Mum becomes a dad, dad becomes a mum, baby may decide for itself eventually: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6147827/Britains-gender-fluid-family-prepare-total-transformation.html -
In 2008, Georgia led a small war to re-conquer Abkhazia and hoped that NATO would come to its aid. But they didn't because they didn't want to face Putin over this. The whole action was a bit kamikaze from then-president Saakashvili. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russo-Georgian_War

What Are You Listening To Right Now?
gcreptile replied to Joey Russ's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Listening to Paul McCartney's new album "Egypt Station". Mostly harmless, but a couple of really good songs. Time flows by quickly, until you realize the album is still on. It maybe contains 2-3 tracks too much. -
Read Any Good Books Lately?

Thanks for the suggestions! I had bought "Flow my Tears, the Policeman Said" some weeks ago and finished it now. Apparently, it was one of his most critically acclaimed novels. Another elegy on drug use with the protagonists repeatedly having revelatory moments. But it didn't quite grip me entirely - and that even though, by sheer coincidence, I had a rare related experience this week. -
80's boy band singer Phil Creswick, member of Big Fun: https://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrity-news/big-fun-singer-phil-creswick-13202930 Got away lightly on drugs charges because he must have consumed tons of stuff himself and now lives "in a hell of his own creation".

Indeed, the more you think about it, the more useless it becomes.
