So while I googled a certain ALS-afflicted "Hall of Fame" coach named Willie Wooden (who turned out to be "only" a high school football coach), I noticed how many notable "Willie Wood"s there are. But only one of them has advanced dementia and has been living in an assisted care home for the past 11 years.

Out of these people I have heard literally nothing about Devin Lima, Clive James, Nobby Stiles and José José in the past months.

Wikipedia says yes. Edit: Though he died at age 80+, so not an early death. I mean, from a deadpooling perspective, lewy-body dementia doesn't warrant special research, like diabetes when it's the only affliction.

As suggested in 2018, Boston Red Sox announcer Jerry Remy, cancer, again: http://www.espn.com.au/mlb/story/_/id/24312244/boston-red-sox-broadcaster-jerry-remy-again-diagnosed-cancer

Yeah, my B-team picked him...just last week I wanted to update my personal survivors list after I found out about the death of cancer mum Leanne Hock, but it turns out she was the only one. Then I wondered if anyone ever dies from Lewy- Body dementia, specifically with Mikita in mind. Robin Williams also had it, but you know how that went.

Karunanidhi is a small hit for me here.

I really should have picked him for the DDP, at least the B-Team.

Barry was too ill to attend his 86-year old brother's wedding to a 27-year old woman (!?): https://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrity-news/barry-chuckle-too-ill-attend-13039359 Edit: Woops, same link as Clorox above, sorry... wanted to get the Patton Brothers angle and the age difference in there. -
However, I think it's obvious now that Karunanidhi won't leave that hospital alive. Did I jinx it now? Well, he should write me a thank you-letter.

The year of the dead chefs: Bocuse, Bourdain, and this one.

Maybe they are story-relevant NPCs.

So four months from party to death. Though age surely was a factor she was also a very strong lady.

I like my chances of having the most hits at the end, but the age factor is brutal here.

Him getting an obit would be a very noble thing.

Considering we have fewer teams this year, this is actually even better. But I guess we haven't had many A+-List deaths.
