Anibal Pachano, argentine choreographer, dancer, actor and architect (?) has lung cancer that has spread to the brain: http://caras.perfil.com/2018-04-28-315457-anibal-pachano-revelo-que-tiene-cancer-de-pulmon-con-metastasis-en-el-cerebro/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anibal_Pachano In spite of his Wikipedia page, I think he'll fall short of an obit. -
Edit: Don't look - nothing happening

Big T even got a Daily Mail obit (and not even an AP copy/paste!): http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-5706931/Big-T-Houston-rapper-known-Wanna-Baller-died-age-52.html Gives me an excuse to post the video after all: I wonder if that means now that every side-featuring (?) rapper is now obit-worthy. Edit: Wait, there is a lot of "Little Red Corvette" in it, isn't it? (Edit: Ok, that's already on wikipedia...)

I kind of like to put the "victims" of terrorists in here, too. -

How to say it... he's definitely in my top 4. But returning to music, the bookies now favour Cyprus. One of the mass-produced songs with "ooh ooh ooh" chorus. Israel is losing ground (the song, not the country).

I was thinking that after I posted. Mainly because she shouldn't have died months ago, but years ago.
-
No, but I have a name...unless that gets taken away. One can possibly even guess it. But I won't tell ...unless the next guess, and only the next guess, has it right. (Massive expectations, but it's a let-down.)

What Are You Listening To Right Now?
gcreptile replied to Joey Russ's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
I had to check... I was 15 when I bought this album. I think I was too young to really make sense it. Bought it for Teardrops. It's an album that grows with time. -
My strategy: Unless I can find that one super-secret name in "his/her final days" or "gravely ill", I'll be picking random terminally ill name XYZ who should have died months ago.

Terry Gilliam was unable to discuss his new movie at Cannes because he was hospitalized and apparently suffered a stroke over the weekend: http://www.looper.com/121276/terry-gilliam-reportedly-hospitalized-ahead-cannes-decision-premiere-man-killed-don-quixote/ Edit: That movie is going to kill him, isn't it?

I'm actually surprised it hasn't happened yet. Or that Ding Yunhui (?) never was a world champion.

Yes, Overton is close to his 112th birthday, so he very likely is the oldest passenger ever.

Lovely game - always liked Mark Williams, in spite, or probably because he always looks like a wet bag of sand. However, it seems to me as if the post-Stephen Hendry generation (O'Sullivan, Higgins and Williams) represents the peak of the game and will not be improved upon.

I wonder who was the most divisive person in history (before World War II). Karl Marx must certainly be up there. Someone could have picked Jesus of Nazareth.
-
You're right. Some of them are duplicates. I wonder if it is possible to precisely differentiate between them. They all somewhat resolve around his birthday, though I would say that there are many significant differences or "angles", as in "What does Xi Yinping say", or "What does Jean-Claude Juncker do". Or "big statue in his native town causes uproar" and so on.... And then there are the opinion pieces...

So I was on the wikipedia page of "oldest Brit ever" Charlotte Hughes: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charlotte_Hughes_(supercentenarian) And it says that she was one of only two supercentenarian air passengers. Now I wonder if that number already includes Mr. Overton or not. Hughes was, according to the BBC source, the oldest person to ever fly. So it could be that Mr. Overton is now the oldest air passenger ever. Edit: By the way, the Washington Post article mentions that he got divorced in the 1920s... That's probably also some kind of record.

Shalom Ouanounou obit watch part 5: His mom feels "connected" to the case of Alfie Evans: https://www.cjnews.com/news/canada/baby-alfie-case-resonated-with-shalom-ouanounous-mother Also, on May 15th a judge will decide whether the Ouanounou case will proceed in court - potentially to the Canadian Supreme Court, making a QO extremely likely. The parallel case of Taquisha McKitty will also be decided on that day.
