I actually (obviously) have no idea about fly fishing. I just copy/pasted the catchiest bit from the obituary.

I wouldn't quite rule her out. Yes, it will eventually kill her. But I suspect the downturn will come this year already. But young age and fitness will carry her a bit into 2019. Obitability is a question.

Obviously deathlisty, yet, I think he never achieved to have a role he was perfect for - a role, he really disappeared in. To me, he's always been "Michael Caine playing XYZ"... never... "THE Lawrence of Arabia", "Scarlett O'Hara", or the like...

Bob Dole - I need this.

Quite sad. As far as I know, he was slightly overrated as a scientist (not quite deserving that god-like status), but immensely important in popularizing science (black holes, string theory). As a cultural icon on one level with Muhammad Ali or Madonna.

Alan Geldard, UK bronze medal winner in cycling at the 1948 London Olympics dead at 90: https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/greater-manchester-news/olympian-alan-geldard--famously-14403478 He was once sacked from his day job for training too much. That was the time when olympic medal winners still had day jobs.

I wonder when exactly Putin stopped to give a fuck.

About half a year after August 25th, 2017, someone must have added one or two names (Ed McGaa? Sharry Konopski?) to that day's list of deaths. The day has now received 7 notable deaths and is thus no longer the most deathless day (well... 7 is the lowest number of the past years, but it is shared with a few other days).

Yeah, I thought the paralympics might be another reason for her tp delay the deed. It seems the forum decided at one point to make her an honorary ALS sufferer. It's really the highest honor we can give.

My pick Shalom Ouanounou died two days ago: http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/shalom-ouanounou-death-1.4569257 Well, it solves one of my problems in that I kind of feared that the BBC would report the court decision to turn off his life support, but then not report his death. Now there might be a news report on the similar situation of Taquisha McKitty, which then mentions that Shalom Ouanounou has already died...so let's see... Edit: Also of interest, the Ouanounou case will actually go on... Editedit: If the case actually makes it to the Canadian Supreme Court, as the article suggests, then I think a QO is more likely than not (as a symbol of "religious freedom"). But then how long is that going to take...

Grammy winner Gary Burden.... not picked.
