Thank you. So 69 club then.... Didn't someone put him into a deadpool last year and had everyone guessing? Did that person know about the stroke?

Interesting. The Mars company is named after its founder... and Mrs. Bertarelli wrote All Saints' mega hit "Black Coffee". I really like that song. Edit: And where is her majesty?

    Your Personal Survivors

Updated my list. With the death of Liliane Bettencourt, my 2015 main team has caught up with the theme team of the same year. The Love Boat 2016 now at an impressive 17/20, but Gary Haggarty's terminal illness might have been a lie to keep someone from assassinating him. Shameless 2016 is now at 18/20, with Jake Bailey and Kris Hallenga doing well.

    Lilianne Bettencourt

Meh, I used to pick her in a couple of pools, but got bored of her/her case, and forgot about her this year. Surely, Sumner Redstone is going to follow soon.

DDP phantom Edwin Drummond's fundraising page is not alive anymore. I wonder whether he's dead now, and it got lost, because he lived in the USA at last.

Yep, same here! 8 survivors in the G.I. Generation, 7 survivors in the Silent Generation.

    The Generation Game

Bobby Heenan was hit nr 31/60. I marvel at every single survivor from my G.I. generation bracket.

    Thoughts On The 2017 List

Seriously, the list has Bracknell, Downie and King Michael... All three of them were regarded as must-haves. That these three are still alive by September was very, very unlikely. Disclaimer: King Michael was first sub for my main team, just like King Bhumibol last year. I like to put absolute locks (of advanced age) in these positions. We'd be talking about the "when", not the "whether" the record will be broken.

Most Significant Death Of Each Month

Probably a tough choice for some between Jake LaMotta and Bobby Heenan. Wrestling vs. Boxing....

    Jake Lamotta

Well... RIP.... apparently quite a character. Lived longer than you'd think of a boxer/stand-up comedian.

    Sad Last Days

Bizarre deadpooling connection, part 1373: A couple of weeks ago, there were rumours that Kate and Leonardo had become a couple. And I thought they might be possible because they of their mutual connection to Shameless pick Gemma Nuttall. As I posted before, Gemma Nuttall has the public (but not financial?) support of Kate Winslet. But did you know that you could donate to the case and win a ticket to a charity event with both Leonardo and Kate in St. Tropez? http://www.rossendalefreepress.co.uk/news/gemma-nuttall-thanks-amazing-generosity-13551544 "Winslet and Titanic co-star Leonardo DiCaprio even auctioned an evening with themselves at a St Tropez charity event."
