Dilip Kumar hospitalised again, this time for suffering from dehydration and a swollen leg: http://indianexpress.com/article/entertainment/bollywood/veteran-actor-dilip-kumar-hospitalised-4779402/ I have him in a couple of deadpools, I thought he'd be dead by now.

    Do You Actually Research?

Indeed, nice list. I have one big Excel table of now 1669 names. I started it in early 2015. Since then about 500 names on it have died. (Last ones were Jerome Golmard and Ross Blair) But honestly, it is overwhelming. Indeed, the choice is too big. You need some kind of order, which is where my statistics come in. However, I think this year shows that apart from statistical guess-work, one also needs a good instinct.

    Leah Bracknell

Update on her Facebook page, the Daily Mail reports: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-4750042/Leah-Bracknell-shares-sad-poem-cancer-diagnosis.html Apparently, she's in pain. Edit: The Mail says she actually went to Germany. But that needn't be total proof.

    Do You Actually Research?

I actually wonder if the personal location of a player changes the search results. I suspect that Death Impends also did so well in the Cup, because he got all those football/baseball types in his searches. Some of those just don't appear for me.

    Do You Actually Research?

Getting a hit with Gary DeCarlo is the reason I won't be disappointed with my performance if my main team doesn't make the Top 10. Death Impends also knew of him though, anyone else? Edit: Ray Pfeifer was also a great hit, I thought. I need to combine my instinct for unique hits with a bit of mainstream thinking.

I think he doesn't count because they couldn't verify his date of birth: http://z3.invisionfree.com/The_110_Club/index.php?showtopic=17348&view=getnewpost "Birth about 1905" I mean, he might remember his birthday, so I guess the claim is solid. But the proof is missing.

    Ideas And Possibilities For 2018

My feeling is it will return, but not this year. Watch, as usual, for concert cancellations. Stomach cancer will slowly starve you. So even if it returns today, death is a couple of months away.

    Tennis players

I think I had him (Golmard) at 40% chance of dying. Probably more than a couple of others, but I still regarded him as a huge punt. This pick must have been well-researched. Bert could easily have gone for, say, Fernando Ricksen or Steve Gleason instead. Kudos! Is this the year of the ALS hits? About the title race, I also think that this is not yet the decision. But, in my opinion, this surprise (?) hit got Bert back into the pole position. It keeps him ahead even after Stefan Karl's death (a punt that has now become a sure hit). Death Impends needs Tony Booth now. The winner will have 17-18 hits. I think this rules out Spade, but you never know with him (Laurie Brokenshire drowing on/under his boat?). I'm more pessimistic about the Singh obit as well. But let's see....

  15. You can also run and cyycle in a gym, and I see lots of people doing it. But I chose a "middle-class" gym, if I may say so. The experts go somewhere else...
  16. Before I reduced the score, I had a couple of looks at Sunny Hundal's twitter feed. He took his time to react. If Singh obits after all, you get a bonus of (1-0,05)*10=9,5 pts.

    Rodrigo Duterte

The older I get, the more I realize how many bizarre public appearances of celebrities can be explained by lots of cocaine. Probably at least 50% of what Duterte says... And about 100% of what Anthony Scaramucci says.
  18. I did so two weeks ago... a bit late at 34 but I already see a difference after about 5 sessions. Before that, I've swum (swam?) regularly but now my go-to pool has two months of general cleaning. I hope to combine the lean look of swimming with a bit of punch from the gym. Also, I can deduct (?) the gym membership from my health care fee and get a return. So I basically get 5 months for free.

I was actually writing such a post, with picture and her extensive Daily Mail coverage. But it's true, the first impression already tells the whole story. That post would have become far too long, I thought.
