Here, another cancer mum, and not just any cancer mum, but no, the biggest Australian cancer mum currently available, Jeni Bonell, mother of 16 children, Australia's largest family: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4551816/Mother-Australia-s-largest-family-diagnosed-cancer.html

The Glen Campbell signature guitar is being re-released "in cooperation with the Campbell Family": http://www.guitarworld.com/gear-news/ovation-guitar-reissues-glen-campbell-signature-models/31234 It does appear as if the family is in a hurry to squeeze out some more money before he goes. Things are coming to an end?

The Rolling Probabilistic Ddp Scoreboard
gcreptile replied to gcreptile's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Update for Ian Brady, John Noakes, an invisible score change to Sonny West (can't give him the full points without the obit yet, but mortality chance is at 100% now), Irfon WIlliams, invisible points for Ray Pfeifer (The B-Team is at 129,805pts at the moment) and Gregg Allmann, though I'm currently not sure if anyone in the virtual Top 20 picked him. Edit: Ok, The Pelican picked him, as usual an extraordinary team. But probably not scoring well enough...yet. 1. David Quantick's Showbiz Pals (171,64) (---) 2. Golden Slumbers (171,13) (---) 3. To Kill a Gabor Sister (169,73) (---) 4. Thomas Jefferson Survives (160,93) (---) 5. Poochie Died on the Way back to his Home Planet (159,95) (---) 6. Deceased Hose (157,55) (+2) 7. The Love Boat (157,28) (-1) 8. Still Life (156,77) (-1) 9. Dead Ends (153,0275) (---) 10. The Living End (151,79) (---) 11. New Years and Drinks All Night (151,76) (---) 12. drollercoaster (151,54) (---) 13. Heading Nowhere (151,22) (---) 14. Day in the Death (148,19) (+4) 15. Crossing the Styx (147,06) (new) 16. Drunkasaskunk (146,71) (-2) 17. I will not die, it's the world that will end! (146,23) (-2) 18. Buckets of Blood (145,90) (-2) 19. I'm sorry for your trouble (144,87) (-2) 20. Shameless (141,53) (new) Only two teams out of those I watch picked Ian Brady, Deceased Hose and Day in the Death. Considering he was in the Drop 40, that's not much. My main team loses a place but I am somewhat compensated with having a second team in the Top 20 now, and I'll be honest. I only posted this update because Shameless made it in. I suspect that the next update with Van Zandvliet and possibly Smith Hart (and Nevin????) will end this state. However, each hit for Shameless gives it a huge boost, because I didn't rate the obit chances very highly, so if Aundrea Bannatyne or Gemma Nuttall obit (not to mention Emma Houlston, and what about Heidi Loughlin?), Shameless' score jumps quite a bit. Going Underground is at 124,8 pts, by the way. And I rated Sonny West's chances of a QO rather highly. Would be a shame if he doesn't obit, I really liked the pick. On the other hand, picks like Mugabe, Brian Reader, Big Van Vader, Jessi Zazu and Paul Madeley don't rate highly in my list. That's why the score is still so low (plus the Paul McGill non-obit). So IF one of them dies, the score jumps quite a bit. -
Same, except I replace Irfon Williams with Kevin Murray
-
Oh, I have to adjust the probabilities....
-
Kevin Murray aka Flatcap Edit: Not the one I wanted to pick, but the Dover mayor died too soon, and then I thought of picking very, very minor UK actress Norma Dunbar. But I had my doubts about an obit. Also, work overload today. Just got back home.
-
Shameless now in triple digits and at 2nd place with DQSP. But seriously, can it get any higher? If none of the regulars (like Christie, Van Zandvliet or King Michael) die, it's Gemma Nuttall or Aundrea Bannatyne for the lead.

I guess a return of the same kind of cancer indicates that it's a relatively aggressive tumour (confirmed by its spread). And there's a higher chance it might be resistant to chemo the second time.... at least that's what I think.... I don't know whether it's a totally different situation if there's cancer in a different body part.

Also true. Death List Top Ten entry next year, then Top one in 2019, like Martin Crowe.
-
Olivia Newton-John turns 69 in September...
-
She's (partly) going the "natural" treatment route...oh dear... (well, is there anything else they can do?) However, my first feeling is that she's a 2019 hit.
-
Sorry... but yes, it's the logical thing to do. Deathlist material and all that...

Return of breast cancer.... http://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrity-news/olivia-newton-john-breast-cancer-10530974

George Bush Sr. has now survived both dictators he waged war against. First hit for my Rotten Deadpool team, but that was an easy one.
-
He probably realized he actually likes prison and doesn't know what to do with himself anymore.

Long-time president of Angola, Jose Eduardo dos Santos, receiving cancer treatment in Spain: http://pulse.ng/world/eduardo-dos-santos-angolan-president-returns-home-after-health-checks-id6756503.html He actually agreed to cede power as well.

Ah...sorry, those days seemed longer to me, I guess, because we (I?) expected a death on the first day. Edit: Let's have a look at my short list...ah...I missed the death of Noel Cassidy already... Edit: Oh no, Veronica "Ronnie" Philpott has died as well... Edit: Ok, got one. and I think I must not wait a single second to post.

I have a couple of candidates and will probably randomly pick one. We've become really good at this. Last year, it took about a week to have a winner. Now we'll be talking about 2-3 days at most. I think I'm going to pick someone at least somewhat notable, actually.

Maybe some Nouvelle Cuisine people, or nouveau vague, or the correspondent novelties in photography and the arts. Raymond Cauchetier, Agnes Varda, Paul Bocuse.. (Book has two of them, I think)

From my distant point of view: I kind of "get" Jeremy Corbyn, he's sometimes a bit eccentric, but at least resembles a human being. I have no idea what Theresa May is doing there. Or what/who she is at all. Edit: That was meant as a reply to the narrowing polls. I thought this was the politics thread...
-
I actually suspect that Lakovic didn't get an obit because he was Canadian, not American. And Suisala didn't get one because he was a uhh...New Zealandian (I don't want to say Kiwi)...not an Aussie.
-
Well, well, well, Amy Reed got an obit from....The Daily Mail: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-4552508/Mother-six-dies-medical-device-spread-cancer.html

Sick thought of the day: I wonder whose death will be overshadowed by Bradley Lowery.

Former Labour politician Eric Joyce believes that Nigerian president Muhammadu Buhari is dead: https://www.nigeriatoday.ng/2017/05/why-i-believe-president-buhari-is-dead-ex-british-lawmaker-eric-joyce-reveals/ I could believe it... I've come around to actually believing that he is very, very ill.

Even pancreatic cancer by the looks of it. Edit: Though maybe the "personal reasons" hint at bulimia?
