The Rolling Probabilistic Ddp Scoreboard
gcreptile replied to gcreptile's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Wait a second... I have to correct myself... He's still a point above you, with Jay Clark's obitability reduced to 5% and Suisala's reduced to 50%. I don't know what I did wrong, but with Nevin's death he will be above you again, anyway. Sorry for that. -

1,14 times two, as a joker. So you'll drop a place. Spade will fall behind you because Jay Clark doesn't seem to obit. But I won't update for a couple of days yet (let's see if Nevin dies and obits). -
Heef is the dark horse in this competition... Glad I didn't pick Kurt Seddon and Tony Kaye...would have ruined it for both of us. Funny...I thought "C. James" was Clifton James, turns out it's Clive James... Oh, and my predictions (really hard this time): Rad Guy The Dead Cow (unbelievable that they both picked Cardinal Vlk) Heef (by one hit) Spade Cooley Captain Chorizo DDT (on tie breaker) Deadsox And I'm not commenting on my own match.

The answer was yes! @RoverandOut: Yes, your team has a lot of potential. I could have picked people like Glen Campbell myself. Except for Bracknell, there's noone I'd say will definitely not die

A double-killer caught chewing his victim's face says he was fleeing from demon "Daniel": http://www.japantimes.co.jp/culture/2017/03/01/entertainment-news/accused-double-killer-caught-chewing-victims-face-tells-dr-phil-fleeing-demon-daniel/#.WLXzI_nhCUk Bonus points for teaching me that you can now major in "exercise science" and be a bodybuilder with a degree in bodybuilding. -
Let's see if I can get a faster hit than Bernie Portenski this time.

My team name will be "O".

I was waiting for this to announce that, in spite of my earlier announcement not to participate, I submitted a team after all, after I realized that the rules DID allow for early scoring. I apologized to RottenAli. Anyway, here's my team: 1. Sara Coward 2. Ben Suisala (no obit) 3. Catherine Nevin 4. King Michael of Romania 5. Peter Skellern 6. Connie Johnson 7. Jimmy Snuka 8. Ginger Baker 9. Zusana Ruzickova 10. Valeri Spiridonov Subs: Glen Campbell, Billy Graham Now, Jimmy Snuka's early demise already destroyed much of my chances, but I'm still happy to be in.

Ok, I submitted a team for round 2. I think I was a bit lucky to get drawn against the host who, naturally, couldn't really win on sneaky unique hits because he offered his team in advance. So he had to go for the good-but-not-too-good picks and received two hits with it.

Smullyan received a Telegraph obit last week (behind paywall).

I think almost all of my predictions came true (so far). Though I did not foresee that MPFC would advance because of a forum ban. I had Pedro vs. Jiroemon as a tie though. That was wrong. Gerald Kaufman is the second candidate on my next team to die in the past week. I hope I can submit something later today.

Tony Wild, Isle of Man MLC retired because of ill health: http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-isle-of-man-39027934 I'm only posting this because I'm a bit baffled that the BBC put this in the world news section, and so Wild's death would receive a qualifying obit. Edit: Or not? because it's not bbc.com.uk? Edit II: Bah, this was supposed to go into the Ideas and Possibilities thread... Edit III: Thanks for moving!

Brad Jordan, together with his sister the Guinness world record holder for being the smallest sibling in earth, dead at 27: http://www.wjbdradio.com/local-news/2017/02/23/sandoval-primordial-dwarf-who-is-in-guiness-world-records-has-died-as-a-result-of-medical-issues They were in a TLC show, of course. They were NOT the world's smallest people though. That person is a DDP pick. -

Her battle was quite the up and down. I followed it quite a while. She looked to be on the upswing some time ago - sad.
