"World War II hero" Russell Dunkeld died back in June, http://www.lancasterguardian.co.uk/news/d-day-war-hero-russell-dunkeld-dies-aged-90-1-7956114 Posting this because I had him on my deathrace team.

    Jacques Chirac

"Degenerative neurological disorder" Probably a code for Alzheimer's? I'd say so. But what does that say about his recent critical health situation?

    The Generation Game

Since he wasn't terminally ill (as far as we knew), I didn't put Bhumibol in any DDP team, he ended up being first replacement for my main team, if I recall correctly. But by the time this deadpool started, it already looked as if the end was near... 11th hit now. I'm grotesquely ahead in this game that is not about speed at all.

    Bhumibol Adulyadej

Interesting times ahead for Thailand I guess. I kind of wanted him to live longer, so he'd achieve some kind of longevity record among monarchs. But Elizabeth II is an even better candidate for that.

    Leonard Cohen

There's also a very obitable Andy Cohen around. I think Leonard will last a couple of years longer. I do not see him reach 90, for some reason. Dying at 86 or so sounds about right.

I actually thought that the obit was a given, but her fitness might carry her into 2018. I think she's not a great pick, merely a good one.

Challenge accepted! Just to say, if he comes up with Shameless 2: Shamelesser due to this, I am so not taking responsibility. It's going to be a fairly conventional team of low-scoring likely-dying people. I'm probably calling it "Hits galore - still no score".
