    Rumours

A school accidentally mourns for former Indian PM Vajpayee: http://www.indiatimes.com/news/india/school-in-odisha-mourns-demise-of-expm-ab-vajpayee-conducts-condolence-meet-to-pay-tribute-245197.html But the report says, he IS in bad health.

    Dead Pop Stars

Way beyond the cusp, BBC obit guaranteed as well as probably being the lead obit that day in the Guardian. Would probably even get a tribute show on Radio 2 actually. Oh wow.... I was having my doubts because so far, the news has only been announced on a local US station, the Toronto Star, and specialist magazines. But my research wasn't all that deep, obviously.

    Dead Pop Stars

Retro-funk singer Sharon Jones's pancreatic cancer is back: http://www.wrdw.com/home/headlines/Sharon-Jones-fighting-new-battle-with-cancer-327209981.html It was originally diagnosed as stage II. I guess she's on the cusp of obitability, having been nominated for a Grammy after her first cancer fight in 2014, and an appearance on BBC TV in February 2015.

    Ironic Deaths

Norman Farberow, 'Father of Suicide Prevention', dies on World Suicide Prevention Day, aged 97: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/norman-farberow-suicide-prevention-dies_55f65e9ee4b077ca094f7509 It wasn't the full irony potential though, because he didn't commit suicide.

Nothing of note to update Ms. Bettencourt, but I only recalled her name and really couldn't place her. So after wiki -- I'm being told that she, basically the owner of L'Oreal and not much else I can attest to, is somehow the 10th wealthiest person in the world with $41B? For cosmetics??????? WTF? And it isn't like it's the only cosmetic line, though maybe they have a 90% market share in Europe or some shit? How in fucking hell does owning L'Oreal make someone $41B. Bollocks I say. And anyone responding defending that statistic I say bollocks to you as well. Poppycock in fact! SC In his Capital in the 21st Century, Thomas Piketty gives Liliane Bettencourt as the prime example of how money tends to attract more money. She could simply sit on her investments and get impossibly rich. No work required.

    Shaun`s Death By Numbers

I have absolutely no idea who James R Messenger was but seeing as the Doug Stanthorpe site gave you the points and the link you gave seems legit I am confident that he is indeed deceased whoever the hell he was.Can you please enlighten me as to who he was out of personal curiosity?Anyhow you gave me a substiute for Amy Watts that is now on my master list so it is only right that you get to pick another name.Who would you like? This option will of course be open to anyone who has a candidate that died before they entered the game but wasn`t reported on. Uuh, I had also picked Mr. Messenger. I replace him with Howard Marks in that case.

    Deathlist Dreaming

Yesterday, I thought how there hasn't been any major death in almost two weeks now (since the death of Sacks and Wes Craven), so consequently I dreamt last night about how this drought led to two really major deaths today. One of them was Rupert Murdoch (how it could happen: a stroke at hearing the Labour leadership vote?), ut I forgot the other one...

Camilla ill with gastroenteritis: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-3229117/Duchess-Cornwall-left-disappointed-falling-ill-overnight-forced-pull-official-visit-Portsmouth.html It occurred to me that Camilla, already 68 years old, might actually never become Queen, but not because Charles doesn't inherit the throne, but because she dies before her mother-in-law.

He uses a nicotine patch though.

    Derby Dead Pool 2015

Interesting case. Though he is covered under my rule as written above because he has his own Wikipedia page in other languages, just not in English. It's actually funny (to me) because I had imagined that this rule would mostly cover former head of state of little-covered non-english speaking nation XYZ, with an obituary in the AP or Reuters, copy/pasted into the Daily Mail.

The Fringes Of Fame/family Of The Famous

Yeah, I took that phrase from the related Daily Mail article. It would have made more sense to also link to it, but I had already accidentally closed that window and then used the first link I found. It killed the joke.
