Khaleda Zia's hearing defered to next month: https://www.dhakatribune.com/bangladesh/politics/327751/charge-framing-hearing-against-khaleda-zia-in-11 Maybe we should make a thread for her simply to avoid spamming other threads. This seems to continue for quite a while.

Is the couple (she's married to lung cancer survivor billionaire investor Richard Blum) being forced to downsize? https://nypost.com/2021/06/25/dianne-feinstein-lists-41m-lake-tahoe-estate/?utm_campaign=SocialFlow&utm_source=P6Twitter&utm_medium=SocialFlow

The Steely Dan farewell tour seems to become a pretty definite affair: https://www.vulture.com/2023/10/steely-dan-donald-fagen-eagles-tour-replaced.html Edit: No, sorry, it's the Eagles farewell tour and Steely Dan are the supporting act. And Donald Fagen has to be replaced by Sheryl Crow.

"transfer her abroad".... lol, and also "in critical condition", double-lol.

I have to think of COVID. Almost everybody on this forum unterestimated it. Only The Old Crem overestimated it. I think the same will happen here. This conflict will not be nice. The Old Crem DOES tend to err in the other direction by a comical amount though.
-
I submitted yesterday. Hope it goes well, I have a couple of other ideas, but I KNOW these would lead to a chain reaction of other disqualifications.

Kirsty Smitten is a hit for me here. Edit: Is she actually the youngest pick in the whole game? Bonus looks good!

Andrew Eldritch, the notoriously difficult frontman of the Sisters of Mercy just had a "medical episode". The Berlin concert had to be aborted: https://www.rbb24.de/kultur/beitrag/2023/10/konzertkritik-the-sisters-of-mercy-columbiahalle-berlin-abbruch-konzert.html

Well, there is, for one, the difference between honest mistake and deliberate fraud. Fauja Singh, I assume we suspect, is the latter? Do we have the same thing here? And if she isn't as old as she claims, how old was she when the massacre took place? It can't be a huge mistake then, unless one doubts the testimony.
-
Ah yes, and she lied about her age so she could claim the precious title of "oldest living survivor of the Tulsa race massacre"... but that's not really what this is about, is it?
-
She married at 18 though, there's not much room for that.
-
Huge article on Viola Fletcher, oldest living survivor of the Tulsa race massacre: https://www.washingtonpost.com/style/power/2023/10/04/tulsa-massacre-viola-fletcher-reparations/ She seems on a mission and in adequate health. Looks like she'll obit everywhere, seems slightly underpicked.

The AfD guy from the previous page has left the intensive care unit. The police don't actually have any indication that there was an attack on him. He just felt bad after he met people and his skin was irritated. Who knows what it was, and well, he is one of the less obvious targets for an attack.

Mike Sertich will be honored in some event, and supposedly looked great in August: https://www.duluthnewstribune.com/sports/college/umd-women-healthy-but-bulldogs-men-banged-up-to-open-season His pancreatic cancer was "only" stage 3, which is probably ruling him out as a great pick in the future. He's only picked by Banana and me in the DDP, so this chance to separate from the rest of the field will not happen.

Forgot to mention, Chris Snow is a hit for me.
