Wagner Group boss Prigozhin going rogue: Are the Hunger Games about to begin? My theme team is waiting... He's also announcing a Wagner retreat from Bakhmut on May 10th. If Ukraine gains territory soon, this will get extremely "interesting".

Linda Lewis is in. This might be the last update for 8 days unless someone super-important dies tomorrow. I won't be at home.

Decreased in some areas, too. Though seemingly now in a different organ, maybe brain?

I kind of had the vision, roughly mid-Decembre last year, that the DDP winner of 2023 would be someone who picked Shane. So... Not me.

Oh yes, the headlines still show up, but the articles have changed... oh India....

Sarath Babu is dead: https://www.hmtvlive.com/movies/sarath-babu-died-due-to-health-problem-96398 English language obit surely just minutes away. He died 3 days too late to give me the "highest Cup score ever".

Idea and possibility if 2018, TV presenter Maria Menounos, recently had a battle with stage 2 pancreatic cancer: https://www.hellomagazine.com/healthandbeauty/health-and-fitness/491783/maria-menounos-reveals-cancer-battle-while-expecting-first-child-keven-undergaro/ 2018 she already had a brain tumour. That doesn't look like the brightest future. Her mother Litsa Menounos was also a popular deadpooling name a while ago.

That's neat. I would have placed him no. 1 candidate for the BBC end of year round-up, too, but nice to already put him to rest.

Well, journalism is always inherently woke. Vice overestimated the market for that though. They expanded to all kinds of countries, there was (is?) a Vice TV. They caught the hype 15 years ago and now the market for journalism is shrinking.

Vice News headed for bankruptcy: https://www.theguardian.com/media/2023/may/01/vice-media-group-bankruptcy-report Kind of sad. They eventually got a bit same-y, but I like to hear their voice occasionally. They have to shrink a lot I guess.

Have a new avatar idea, will change in a bit once I'm back home. That one is probably going to last for a while.

Palestinian prisoner Khader Adnan dead of hunger strike after 87 days. He was under heavy suspicion of terrorist activities: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2023/may/02/palestinian-khader-adnan-dies-in-israel-jail-after-87-day-hunger-strike

Khader Adnan is the first hit of the round: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2023/may/02/palestinian-khader-adnan-dies-in-israel-jail-after-87-day-hunger-strike I didn't think anyone would actually hunger-strike to death.

Thanks Spade! George Caley and George B. Caley are, unfortunately, the same.

Best of luck to you, too! Thank you Spade for the round. Only five hits in April, must be a negative record with so many players. But hey, I got them all!

Thread for Recep Erdogan, eternal leader of Turkey, great sultan of the new Ottoman Empire. Now 67 years old, 18 years in power, there has been some speculation about his health. For example, this article heavily implies that he has cancer: https://foreignpolicy.com/2021/10/01/erdogan-sick-lead-turkey/ Plus, there's always a bit of a threat of an unnatural death. You know how it is in these countries, when a strongman has elevated himself above democracy but then slowly loses power.

Daniel Ellsberg please.

I made updates. The next one has to wait until Tuesday.
