I was toying with a Breaking Bad / Better Call Saul theme team, as some actors were showing their age, Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks), Bob Odenkirk's heart attack, Hector Salamanca (Mark Margolis), and now, of course, Carol Burnett, too.

I can do it when I'm back from holiday, i.e. in a week. Guess for next year we need to keep in mind which info is very year-specific.

    Voice Actors

Here's one to make up my mind about: The "king of Animusic", i.e. Animé soundtracks, Ichirou Mizuki has been diagnosed with lung cancer spread to brain: https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2022-07-26/singer-ichiro-mizuki-reveals-lung-cancer-diagnosis/.188043?ann-edition=us Most likely obitable, but also back on stage after successful surgery, and Japan has pretty good cancer survival rates.

Does it matter if they get a DDP QO? There are a couple of big names in non-english countries (:cough: Germany :cough:) that might be considered.

    Inverse Dead Pool 2022

I had a good run recently, and silently. But yeah, I didn't see Weir's demise coming AT ALL. If I had, I'd be shared 3rd now, alas...
  18. I wonder if the abundance of terminal diagnoses is the predicted cancer wave post-corona. But then many of the names in circulation have had the cancer for years, so it would not be cases of missed diagnoses, but rather neglected treatment.

    Derby Dead Pool 2023

Ha! Well, some names are so incredibly obscure, we have to take what is there. I would hope that of these cases are these rare ones, and it's not something systemic.
