    The 100 Club

He must have been in the Top 20 of notable people age-wise, or around that. I think we can determine pretty conclusively if he was the oldest notable person to die unnaturally. But possibly not the oldest person of all. Though we could at least check that for the age of google since every centenarian dying by murder / fire / etc.. should have made the news.

    Sumner Redstone

An outsider journalist was allowed to see him last month: https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2018/11/the-redstone-saga-faces-another-new-turn Quote: "Perez reported that Sumner “was in his living room sitting up right in a chair with pillows between his back and the back of the chair.” He wrote that there was “no evidence of physical neglect or abuse.” But, he continued, “Mr. Redstone obviously was incapable of any meaningful communication or ability to conduct any sort of decision-making regarding directing his care and, in my opinion, incapable of conducting any legal or financial transactions whatsoever. He was not responsive to my questions and incapable of being interviewed for even basic information. It was obvious to me in my lay opinion that absent 24 hour care, he was incapable of taking care of himself and mentally non-responsive"

It's getting closer. Slam Guide #13: Michael Schumacher The seven-time Formula One world champion has been invisible since his heavy skiing accident in 2013. Nobody knows how bad it really was, but it apparently must have been extremely bad. How much longer can that body last?

Germany reality TV star Jens Büchner dead at 49: https://www.bild.de/unterhaltung/leute/leute/jens-buechner-ist-tot-goodbye-deutschland-star-mit-49-gestorben-58469710.bild.html (german link) Basically the star character of reality show "Goodbye Deutschland" that told the stories of german emigrees in their new country, their absurd business ideas and culture clashes. He died rather sudden after a period of extreme weight loss. My guess: pancreatic cancer. But nothing is official yet.

    World's Oldest

Tried looking for some of the world's oldest people for cheap hits, but after the mass exodus of the previous years, I think we're in for a bit of a drought there... Disney animator, Ruthie Thompson, still on for game day: Polish athlete Stanislaw Kowalski, still standing for his 108th birthday in April: Italian composer Cecilia Seghizzi looking quite happy celebarting her 110th birthday in September: http://ilpiccolo.gelocal.it/trieste/cronaca/2018/09/02/news/i-110-anni-di-cecilia-seghizzi-fra-letture-e-tanta-buona-musica-1.17210141 Consideration starts with the eminently obitable WW II resistance fighter Georges Loinger (also featured in the future movie "Resistance") On the 110 club site there is a vast amount of pictures for oldest notable person Qin Hanzhang.
