As Liechtenstein's premier football team (FC Vaduz) compete in the Swiss Super League, I reckon you can let them in! It's also a beautiful little country, having visted a couple of years ago.

Thoughts and Opinions on the 2021 Deathlist
Imelda replied to Charles De Gaulle's topic in DeathList Forum
Sending in letters of complaint to the Committee as we speak. Unless they don't, in which case they are definitely ones to watch out for... -
That was enough for me; if the BBC are running with that sort of commentary with their exceptional sources, you'd assume it's a strong signal they think he's not got long left.
-
A fair inclusion (I would say that as I have him too), but very highly ranked given who else is on the list. Feels like a 30-something pick.
-
He's reminding me of the end days of Mark E. Smith, wheelchair-bound with rapid deterioration. Think this will be his year - there's only so long you can abuse your body to the extent he has, a relentless pounding day after day.
-
Seems like a waste of a pick to me beyond him being very old, which seems to be the theme this year.
-
Like it or loathe it, he's very famous right now and will obit easily. One of the few genuinely decent new entrants this year.
-
Only since the death of Bill Gates Senior, of course.
-
The old gag about her being a dead cert for I'm a Celebrity, "as she's been living successfully of a dead beatle for the past 40 years."
-
Worst new entrant, she's fine and will see 2025 at this rate.

Thoughts and Opinions on the 2021 Deathlist
Imelda replied to Charles De Gaulle's topic in DeathList Forum
A very safe list based on age mainly - with some sacred cow inclusions of oldsters who are fit as a fiddle given their years (DvD etc). Betty Boothroyd is an especially odd choice. Bet-hedging, I suspect it'll be a record year because of the sheer average age. But kind of hollow should the record be broken. The lack of young 'uns to make it a bit more spicy seems silly to me. At least we're spared a reapperance of a Bill Gate's dad charcter/chancer this time, so that's the best news. -
Back on the New Year's episode and still sounds sharp and plenty pf conviction behind the voice. So long as her health holds, the mental workout and stimulus of acting will keep her going.
-
Seemed a bit behind the curve the last time I heard her on JAM but given her age, that's understandable. She'll be around for a little while yet.

I predict the grim reaper is going to confound sceptics and be its most powerful yet like a super strong enema in 2024 moreso than recent years equalling or even beating 2020

Think I've muttered this before; from around 2015 onwards there'd be loads of 'sleb deaths each year because the early Boomers - those of the 'rise of the teenager' and mass media age - are now hitting old age, and their idols are already there. The pool of 'famous names' gets exponentially larger from the early 60's thanks to TV, pop music and fashion/pop culture. Also the Western population at large are now living much longer so the collective memory of people who were last famous 50+ years ago for 5 minutes will linger on. Reckon you can post this every year into the future and still be proved right, in a way. -
Bet the note was printed the same on both sides...

Might as well post this here for completeness, Ronald Atkins, the UK's longest living former MP https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-lancashire-55497482

War crimes? Sorry mate, can't remember...

Going to have my inaugral crack at this for 2021, after three years of not getting my arse into gear. Love the scoring system, makes for more thought than just the usual 'pick really old people and Stage 4 unfortunates'.

That one is less excusable. Ghislaine Maxwell, you're in! 26/50

Lives in Portishead as do my folks. Spotted in the local Waitrose recently so seems fine, the antics of his daughter and granddaughter notwithstanding...
